基路伯翅膀的響聲連外院也可以聽得到，就像全能上帝說話時的聲音。

兩個基路伯要高張着翅膀，用它們的翅膀遮掩着除罪蓋；基路伯的臉要彼此相對；它們的臉要朝着除罪蓋。你要將除罪蓋安在櫃的上邊，又將我所要賜給你的證言法版放在櫃裏。我要在那裏和你相會，也要從除罪蓋的上邊、從法櫃上兩基路伯之間、將我所要吩咐你傳給以色列人的一切事和你講說。
