曰耶和華踐其前言、錫安於以色列族之民、當頌美焉。昔托厥僕摩西、許民福祉、迄今不廢其一言。

主踐前言、賜平安於以色列民、當頌美之、昔主託其僕摩西許以賜福、其言無一不驗、

“ Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.

“ I praise the Lord. He has given peace and rest to his people Israel. That’s exactly what he promised to do. He gave his people good promises through his servant Moses. Every single word of those promises has come true.

“ Blessed be the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by Moses his servant.

“ Praise the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises he gave through his servant Moses.

“ Blessed be the LORD! He has given rest to his people Israel according to all he has said. Not one of all the good promises he made through his servant Moses has failed.

“ Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel in accordance with everything that He promised; not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He promised through Moses His servant.

Blessed be Jehovah, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moses his servant.

“ May the Lord be praised! He has given rest to His people Israel according to all He has said. Not one of all the good promises He made through His servant Moses has failed.

「看哪，我今日要走世人必走的路了。你們要一心一意知道，耶和華－你們上帝所應許要賜給你們的一切福氣，沒有一件落空，都應驗在你們身上了。耶和華－你們的上帝所應許的一切福氣怎樣臨到你們身上，耶和華也必照樣使各樣災禍臨到你們身上，直到他把你們從耶和華－你們上帝所賜給你們的這美地上除滅。

耶和華照着向他們列祖起誓所應許的一切，賜給他們全境安寧。他們所有的仇敵，沒有一個能在他們面前站立得住。耶和華把所有仇敵都交在他們手中。耶和華應許賜福給以色列家的話，一句都沒有落空，全都應驗了。

撒母耳長大了，耶和華與他同在，使他所說的話一句都不落空。

天地要廢去，我的話卻絕不廢去。」

他向我們列祖施憐憫，記得他的聖約，就是他對我們祖宗亞伯拉罕所起的誓，

你們過了約旦河，住在耶和華－你們上帝給你們承受為業的地；他又使你們得享太平，不受四圍一切仇敵擾亂，使你們安然居住。

等到耶和華讓你們的弟兄像你們一樣，得享太平，他們在約旦河另一邊，也得了耶和華－你們的上帝所賜給他們的地，你們各人才可以回到我所賜給你們為業之地。』

他扶助了他的僕人以色列，不忘記施憐憫，正如他對我們的列祖說過，『憐憫亞伯拉罕和他的後裔，直到永遠。』」

但我們已經信的人進入安息，正如上帝所說：「我在怒中起誓：他們斷不可進入我的安息！」其實造物之工，從創世以來已經完成了。論到第七日，有一處說：「到第七日，上帝就歇了他一切工作。」又有一處說：「他們斷不可進入我的安息！」既有這安息保留着讓一些人進入，那些先前聽見福音的人，因不信從而不得進去，所以上帝多年後藉着大衛的書，又定了一天－「今日」，如以上所引的說：「今日，你們若聽他的話，就不可硬着心。」若是約書亞已使他們享了安息，後來上帝就不會再提別的日子了。這樣看來，另有一安息日的安息為上帝的子民保留着。

你們和兒女、僕婢，以及住在你們城裏，沒有與你們一起分得產業的利未人，都要在耶和華－你們的上帝面前歡樂。

由此可知，耶和華指着亞哈家所說的話一句也沒有落空，因為耶和華實現了他藉他僕人以利亞所說的話。」

他在猶大建造了幾座堅固城。那些年間，國中太平，沒有戰爭，因為耶和華賜他平安。
