爾民犯罪於爾、爾其赦宥、使虜之者施其矜憫、

赦免你的人民、就是那些犯罪得罪了你的，赦免他們一切的背叛行為、就是他們背叛你的罪，使他們在擄了他們的人面前蒙憐憫，叫擄了他們的人憐憫他們；

寬恕獲罪於爾之民、宥其對爾所干之咎、使於虜者之前、得其矜憫、

赦主之民在主前所犯之罪愆、使擄之者、向之施矜憐、

And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their captors to show them mercy;

Your people have sinned against you. Please forgive them. Forgive them for all the wrong things they’ve done against you. And make those who won the battle over them show mercy to them.

斯民被虜、主感敵人、俾懷惻隱兮、

爾之上帝耶和華仁慈矜憫、如爾歸之、必不棄爾、即爾見虜之子弟、亦蒙矜憫、得反斯土。

拯出諸難、賜以智慧、俾得埃及王法老寵、法老封為埃及伯兼司宗室、

以色列族上帝耶和華、所傳摩西之律例、選士以士喇能明厥旨、既蒙上帝祐、所求於王、王無弗許。亞達泄西七年、以士喇自巴比倫詣耶路撒冷、以色列族中有庶民、祭司、利未人、謳歌者、司閽者、殿中奔走者、咸從之往。

王曰、爾有何求。我則心禱天上之上帝、遂告王曰、如王樂施恩於我、請遣臣僕、至猶大地祖墓之邑、俾我得以復建。是時王后坐於側、王問我曰、往返將幾日。我定厥期、王乃遣我。我又告王曰、請王以詔頒我、命河西諸伯途間資我、至猶大。亦請王降詔於虞人亞薩、使彼賜我材木、可建城門、築垣墉、與我所居之室、蒙上帝祐、王允所祈。

有人焉、耶和華悅其所為、必使仇敵皆與之和。

但以理蒙上帝祐、令沾恩矜恤於宦官長、宦官長告但以理曰、我畏我主我王、彼賜糈糧酒醴、如見爾曹形容憔悴、不及同儕、則必喪我元、

今求耶和華垂聽爾僕、及夤畏爾者所祈、使我今日亨通、沾恩於王、當是時我為王酒正。

以士喇曰、當頌讚列祖之上帝耶和華、感動王心、修葺耶路撒冷之殿、俾我得沾王恩、言官群伯之惠、既蒙上帝祐、我志孔強、集以色列族中最著者、與我偕往。
