赦免你的人民、就是那些犯罪得罪了你的，赦免他們一切的背叛行為、就是他們背叛你的罪，使他們在擄了他們的人面前蒙憐憫，叫擄了他們的人憐憫他們；

寬恕獲罪於爾之民、宥其對爾所干之咎、使於虜者之前、得其矜憫、

爾民犯罪於爾、爾其赦宥、使虜之者施其矜憫、

赦主之民在主前所犯之罪愆、使擄之者、向之施矜憐、

And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their captors to show them mercy;

Your people have sinned against you. Please forgive them. Forgive them for all the wrong things they’ve done against you. And make those who won the battle over them show mercy to them.

你們若歸向祂，你們的弟兄和兒女必蒙擄走他們之人的憐憫，得以回歸此地，因為你們的上帝耶和華有恩典，好憐憫。你們若歸向祂，祂必不會轉臉不顧你們。」

救他脫離一切危難，又賜他過人的智慧，使他在埃及法老面前得到恩寵，官拜宰相治理全國，並管理王室。

這以斯拉是位律法教師，精通以色列的上帝耶和華賜下的摩西律法。他的上帝耶和華幫助他，使王批准他的一切要求。

王問我：「你有什麼要求？」我向天上的上帝禱告後，回答說：「如果王認為好，如果僕人在王面前蒙恩，請王派我到猶大，重建我祖墳所在的城邑。」當時王后坐在王的旁邊，王問我：「你要去多久？什麼時候回來？」我告訴王一個日期，王欣然批准。我又說：「如果王認為好，求王賜我詔書，通知河西省長准我經過前往猶大。求王再發一道詔書，通知管理王室園林的亞薩，吩咐他供給我木材，用來做聖殿堡壘的門梁及建造城牆和我住的房子。」王批准了我的請求，因為我的上帝施恩幫助我。

人所行的若蒙耶和華喜悅，耶和華必使仇敵與他和好。

上帝使但以理得到太監長的恩待和同情。不過，太監長對但以理說：「我懼怕我主我王，因為這是他安排給你們的飲食。如果他看見你們比同齡的青年瘦弱，如何是好？你們會使我在王面前人頭難保。」

主啊，求你側耳聽你僕人的禱告，垂聽那些喜愛敬畏你名的眾僕人的祈求，使你僕人今天亨通，在王面前蒙恩。」我是王的侍酒總管。

以斯拉說：「我們祖先的上帝耶和華當受讚美！因為祂使王有這樣的心意尊崇耶路撒冷耶和華的殿。祂又在王及其謀士和所有權貴面前施恩於我。因為我的上帝耶和華幫助我，我便有勇氣召集以色列的首領與我一同上去。」
