When they return to you with all their heart and being in the land where they are held prisoner, and direct their prayers to you toward the land you gave to their ancestors, your chosen city, and the temple I built for your honor,

if they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name;

但以理知道这文告签署了以后，就上到自己家里楼顶上的房间，这房间的窗户朝向耶路撒冷开着；他一日三次双膝跪下，在他的神面前祷告称谢，像往日一样。

于是撒母耳对以色列全家说：“如果你们一心归向耶和华，就当把外族的神和亚斯他录从你们中间除掉，专心归向耶和华，单单事奉他，他必救你们脱离非利士人的手。”以色列人就除掉众巴力和亚斯他录，单单事奉耶和华。

这一切灾祸是按着摩西的律法书上所记载的，临到了我们身上，但我们仍没有恳求耶和华我们的神施恩，使我们离开罪孽，明白你的真理。

耶和华啊！我一心呼求你，求你应允我；我必遵守你的律例。

虽然这样，她诡诈的妹妹犹大还没有全心归向我，只是假意地归我。”这是耶和华的宣告。

愿你的眼睛昼夜看顾这殿，看顾你所说‘我的名要留在那里’的地方。愿你垂听你仆人向这地方所发的祷告。你仆人和你的子民以色列向这地方祷告的时候，求你垂听他们的恳求。求你在天上的居所垂听，垂听而赦免。

你们要趁着耶和华可以寻找的时候，寻找他，趁着他靠近的时候，呼求他。恶人要离弃自己的道路，不义的人当除去自己的意念，回转过来归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜悯他。你们当回转过来归向我们的神，因为他大大赦免人的罪。

我一心寻求你，求你不要容我偏离你的诫命。
