If they sin against you( for there is no man who doesn’t sin), and you are angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;

世未有不犯罪者、如主之民獲罪於主、主向之震怒、付於敵人、為敵人擄至敵國、或遠或近、

“ When they sin against you— for there is no one who does not sin— and you become angry with them and give them over to their enemies, who take them captive to their own lands, far away or near;

“ Suppose your people sin against you. After all, there isn’t anyone who doesn’t sin. And suppose you get angry with them. You hand them over to their enemies. They take them as prisoners to their own lands. It doesn’t matter whether those lands are near or far away.

“ The time will come when your people will sin against you( for there is no one who is sinless!) and you will be angry with them and deliver them over to their enemies, who will take them as prisoners to their own land, whether far away or close by.

Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and doesn’t sin.

Who can say,“ I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?”

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

Then the land will enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land. Even then the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn’t have in your Sabbaths when you lived on it.“‘ As for those of you who are left, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a driven leaf will put them to flight; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword. They will fall when no one pursues.They will stumble over one another, as it were before the sword, when no one pursues. You will have no power to stand before your enemies.You will perish among the nations. The land of your enemies will eat you up.Those of you who are left will pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers they shall pine away with them.

For we have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away to Assyria, and placed them in Halah, and on the Habor, the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.

Yahweh will bring you, and your king whom you will set over yourselves, to a nation that you have not known, you nor your fathers. There you will serve other gods of wood and stone.

Therefore Yahweh was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight. There was none left but the tribe of Judah only.

The king of Babylon attacked them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.

For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.

“ Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but to us confusion of face, as it is today; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, who are near, and who are far off, through all the countries where you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you.To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness; for we have rebelled against him.We haven’t obeyed Yahweh our God’s voice, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.Yes, all Israel have transgressed your law, turning aside, that they should not obey your voice.“ Therefore the curse and the oath written in the law of Moses the servant of God has been poured out on us; for we have sinned against him.He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges who judged us, by bringing on us a great evil; for under the whole sky, such has not been done as has been done to Jerusalem.As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil has come on us. Yet we have not entreated the favor of Yahweh our God, that we should turn from our iniquities and have discernment in your truth.Therefore Yahweh has watched over the evil, and brought it on us; for Yahweh our God is righteous in all his works which he does, and we have not obeyed his voice.

“ If they sin against you( for there is no man who doesn’t sin), and you are angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to a land far off or near;

Yahweh rooted them out of their land in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation, and thrust them into another land, as it is today.”

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

Yahweh will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth. There you will serve other gods which you have not known, you nor your fathers, even wood and stone.Among these nations you will find no ease, and there will be no rest for the sole of your foot; but Yahweh will give you there a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and pining of soul.Your life will hang in doubt before you. You will be afraid night and day, and will have no assurance of your life.In the morning you will say,“ I wish it were evening!” and at evening you will say,“ I wish it were morning!” for the fear of your heart which you will fear, and for the sights which your eyes will see.Yahweh will bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I told to you that you would never see it again. There you will offer yourselves to your enemies for male and female slaves, and nobody will buy you.

Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

until Yahweh removed Israel out of his sight, as he said by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria to this day.

But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

What is man, that he should be clean? What is he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?Behold, he puts no trust in his holy ones. Yes, the heavens are not clean in his sight;how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks iniquity like water!

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from off the land which you go over the Jordan to possess it. You will not prolong your days on it, but will utterly be destroyed.Yahweh will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where Yahweh will lead you away.

They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
