When they sin against you— for there is no one who does not sin— and you are angry with them and hand them over to the enemy, and their captors deport them to the enemy’s country— whether distant or nearby—

天下億兆、誰能無過、若爾民蹈於愆尤、干爾震怒、爾付之於敵、見虜於異邦、無論遠近、

世未有不犯罪者、如主之民獲罪於主、主向之震怒、付於敵人、為敵人擄至敵國、或遠或近、

“ When they sin against you— for there is no one who does not sin— and you become angry with them and give them over to their enemies, who take them captive to their own lands, far away or near;

“ Suppose your people sin against you. After all, there isn’t anyone who doesn’t sin. And suppose you get angry with them. You hand them over to their enemies. They take them as prisoners to their own lands. It doesn’t matter whether those lands are near or far away.

“ If they sin against you— for there is no one who does not sin— and you are angry with them and give them to an enemy, so that they are carried away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near,

“ If they sin against you— and who has never sinned?— you might become angry with them and let their enemies conquer them and take them captive to their land far away or near.

“ When they sin against You( for there is no person who does not sin) and You are angry with them and turn them over to an enemy, so that they take them away captive to the land of the enemy, distant or near;

“ When they sin against You( for there is no one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near;

If they sin against thee( for there is no man that sinneth not), and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive unto the land of the enemy, far off or near;

If they sin against thee,( for[ there is] no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

“ The time will come when your people will sin against you( for there is no one who is sinless!) and you will be angry with them and deliver them over to their enemies, who will take them as prisoners to their own land, whether far away or close by.

If they sin against you( for there is no man who doesn’t sin), and you are angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;

There is certainly no one righteous on the earth who does good and never sins.

Who can say,“ I have kept my heart pure; I am cleansed from my sin”?

If we say,“ We have no sin,” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.If we say,“ We have not sinned,” we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God;

“ Then the land will make up for its Sabbath years during the time it lies desolate, while you are in the land of your enemies. At that time the land will rest and make up for its Sabbaths.As long as it lies desolate, it will have the rest it did not have during your Sabbaths when you lived there.“ I will put anxiety in the hearts of those of you who survive in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a wind-driven leaf will put them to flight, and they will flee as one flees from a sword, and fall though no one is pursuing them.They will stumble over one another as if fleeing from a sword though no one is pursuing them. You will not be able to stand against your enemies.You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will devour you.Those who survive in the lands of your enemies will waste away because of their iniquity; they will also waste away because of their ancestors’ iniquities along with theirs.

All of us have become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like a polluted garment; all of us wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.

In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria. He deported the Israelites to Assyria and settled them in Halah, along the Habor( Gozan’s river), and in the cities of the Medes.

LORD, if you kept an account of iniquities, Lord, who could stand?

We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the LORD has punished him for the iniquity of us all.

Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one alive is righteous in your sight.

“ The LORD will bring you and your king that you have appointed to a nation neither you nor your ancestors have known, and there you will worship other gods, of wood and stone.

Therefore, the LORD was very angry with Israel, and he removed them from his presence. Only the tribe of Judah remained.

The king of Babylon put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah went into exile from its land.

For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body.

Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel— those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where you have banished them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward you.LORD, public shame belongs to us, our kings, our leaders, and our ancestors, because we have sinned against you.Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against himand have not obeyed the LORD our God by following his instructions that he set before us through his servants the prophets.All Israel has broken your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. The promised curse written in the law of Moses, the servant of God, has been poured out on us because we have sinned against him.He has carried out his words that he spoke against us and against our rulers by bringing on us a disaster that is so great that nothing like what has been done to Jerusalem has ever been done under all of heaven.Just as it is written in the law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our iniquities and paying attention to your truth.So the LORD kept the disaster in mind and brought it on us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all he has done. But we have not obeyed him.

The LORD uprooted them from their land in his anger, rage, and intense wrath, and threw them into another land where they are today.’

Who can produce something pure from what is impure? No one!

Then the LORD will scatter you among all peoples from one end of the earth to the other, and there you will worship other gods, of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known.You will find no peace among those nations, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and a despondent spirit.Your life will hang in doubt before you. You will be in dread night and day, never certain of survival.In the morning you will say,‘ If only it were evening!’ and in the evening you will say,‘ If only it were morning!’— because of the dread you will have in your heart and because of what you will see.The LORD will take you back in ships to Egypt by a route that I said you would never see again. There you will sell yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

Who perceives his unintentional sins? Cleanse me from my hidden faults.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgment.

Finally, the LORD removed Israel from his presence just as he had declared through all his servants the prophets. So Israel has been exiled to Assyria from their homeland to this very day.

But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin’s power, so that the promise might be given on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ to those who believe.

What is a mere human, that he should be pure, or one born of a woman, that he should be righteous?If God puts no trust in his holy ones and the heavens are not pure in his sight,how much less one who is revolting and corrupt, who drinks injustice like water?

I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that you will quickly perish from the land you are about to cross the Jordan to possess. You will not live long there, but you will certainly be destroyed.The LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be reduced to a few survivors among the nations where the LORD your God will drive you.

They will be killed by the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
