They will tell the nations of my splendor.They will bring back all your countrymen from all the nations as an offering to the LORD. They will bring them on horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels to my holy hill Jerusalem,” says the LORD,“ just as the Israelites bring offerings to the LORD’s temple in ritually pure containers.

Your arm is powerful, your hand strong, your right hand victorious.

For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with plague, and you would have been destroyed from the earth.

Or has God ever before tried to deliver a nation from the middle of another nation, accompanied by judgments, signs, wonders, war, strength, power, and other very terrifying things like the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

Instead you must worship the LORD, who brought you up from the land of Egypt by his great power and military ability; bow down to him and offer sacrifices to him.

When the Canaanites and all who live in the land hear about this, they will turn against us and destroy the very memory of us from the earth. What will you do to protect your great reputation?”

But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, not even under force.

The LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the LORD by name.The LORD passed by before him and proclaimed:“ The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness,keeping loyal love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, for his loyal love endures,

Then all who survive from all the nations that came to attack Jerusalem will go up annually to worship the King, the LORD who rules over all, and to observe the Feast of Tabernacles.

None can compare to you among the gods, O Lord! Your exploits are incomparable!All the nations, whom you created, will come and worship you, O Lord. They will honor your name.

So when the envoys arrived from the Babylonian officials to visit him and inquire about the sign that occurred in the land, God left him alone to test him, in order to know his true motives.

The king replied to Daniel,“ Certainly your God is a God of gods and Lord of kings and revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery!”

The nations will hear and tremble; anguish will seize the inhabitants of Philistia.
