耶和华啊，求你将你的道指教我，因我仇敌的缘故引导我走平坦的路。

耶和华如此说：“你们当站在路边察看，寻访古老的路，哪里是完善的道路，就行走在其上；这样，你们自己必找到安息。他们却说：‘我们不走。’

过了许多日子，到了第三年，耶和华的话临到以利亚，说：“你去，让亚哈看见你，我要降雨在地面上。”

耶和华啊，求你将你的道指示我，将你的路指教我！求你指教我，引导我进入你的真理，因为你是救我的神。我整日等候你。

外邦虚无的神明中有能降雨的吗？天能自降甘霖吗？耶和华—我们的神啊，不是你吗？我们要等候你，因为这一切都是你所造的。

霎时间，天因风云黑暗，降下大雨。亚哈就坐上车，往耶斯列去了。

耶和华啊，你所管教、用律法教导的人有福了！

以利亚与我们是同样性情的人，他恳切地祈求不要下雨，地上就三年六个月没有下雨。他又祷告，天就降下雨来，地就有了出产。

必有许多民族前往，说：“来吧，我们登耶和华的山，到雅各神的殿。他必将他的道指教我们，我们也要行他的路。”因为教诲必出于锡安，耶和华的言语必出于耶路撒冷。

耶和华啊，求你将你的律例指教我，我必遵守到底！

到了正午，以利亚嘲笑他们，说：“大声求告吧！因为它是神明，它或许在默想，或许正忙着，或许在路上，或许在睡觉，它该醒过来了。”他们大声求告，按着他们的仪式，用刀枪刺割自己，直到浑身流血。中午过去了，他们狂呼乱叫，直到献晚祭的时候，却没有声音，没有回应的，也没有理睬的。以利亚对众百姓说：“你们到我这里来。”众百姓就到他那里，他把那已经毁坏了的耶和华的坛修好。以利亚按照雅各子孙支派的数目，取了十二块石头；耶和华的话曾临到雅各，说：“你的名要叫以色列。”以利亚用这些石头为耶和华的名筑一座坛，在坛的四围挖沟，可容纳二细亚谷种。他又在坛上摆好了柴，把牛犊切成小块放在柴上，说：“你们用四个桶盛满水，倒在燔祭和柴上。”他又说：“倒第二次。”他们就倒第二次。他又说：“倒第三次。”他们就倒第三次。水流到坛的四围，沟里也满了水。到了献晚祭的时候，先知以利亚近前来，说：“耶和华—亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神啊，求你今日使人知道你是以色列的神，我是你的仆人，我遵照你的话做这一切事。求你应允我，耶和华啊，应允我，使这百姓知道你—耶和华是神，是你叫他们回心转意的。”于是，耶和华降下火来，烧尽燔祭、木柴、石头、尘土，又烧干了沟里的水。众百姓看见了，就脸伏于地，说：“耶和华是神！耶和华是神！”以利亚对他们说：“拿住巴力的先知，不让任何人逃走！”众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

谁敬畏耶和华，耶和华必教导他当选择的道路。

耶和华啊，求你因我仇敌的缘故，凭你的公义引领我，使你的道路在我面前正直。

耶和华啊，求你将你的道指教我，我要照你的真理而行；求你使我专心敬畏你的名！

我要教导你，指示你当行的路，我要定睛在你身上劝戒你。

耶和华是良善正直的，因此，他必教导罪人走正路。

在那里必有一条大道，就是一条路，称为圣路。污秽的人不得经过，是专为走路的人预备的，愚昧的人也不会迷路。

求你使我清晨得听你慈爱的声音，因我倚靠你；求你使我知道当走的路，因我的心仰望你。

就打发他们的门徒同希律党人去见耶稣，说：“老师，我们知道你是诚实的，并且诚诚实实传神的道，无论谁你都一视同仁，因为你不看人的面子。

愿耶和华—你的神指示我们当走的路，当做的事。”

“你的百姓若得罪了你，你使天闭塞不下雨；他们若向此处祷告，宣认你的名，因你的惩罚而离开他们的罪，求你在天上垂听，赦免你仆人你百姓以色列的罪，将当行的善道教导他们，并降雨在你的地，就是你赐给你百姓为业之地。

你或向左或向右，必听见后边有声音说：“这是正路，要行在其间。”

神啊，你降下大雨；你的产业以色列疲乏的时候，你使他坚固。
