至于我，我决不停止为你们祷告，以致得罪耶和华；我要把善道正路教导你们。

耶和华啊！求你指示我你的道路；为我仇敌的缘故引导我走平坦的路。

耶和华这样说：“你们要站在路上察看，寻访远古的路径，看哪一条是美善的路，就走在其中；这样，你们心里就必得安息。他们却说：‘我们不走在其中。’

过了许久，到第三年，耶和华的话临到以利亚说：“你去在亚哈面前出现，我要降雨在地面上。”

耶和华啊！求你把你的道路指示我，求你把你的路径教导我，求你以你的真理引导我，教训我，因为你是拯救我的神；我整天等候的就是你。

列国虚无的偶像中，有可以降雨的吗？天能自降甘霖吗？耶和华我们的神啊！能够这样作的，不是只有你吗？所以我们仰望你，因为这一切都是你所作的。

霎时之间，天空因风云而变为黑暗，随着降下大雨来。于是亚哈坐上了车，往耶斯列去了。

耶和华啊！你所管教，用律法教导的人，是有福的。

以利亚是与我们性情相同的人；他恳切祈求不要下雨，地上就三年零六个月没有雨；他又祈祷，天就下雨，地就生出土产来。

必有多国的人前来说：“来吧！我们上耶和华的山，登雅各神的殿；他必把他的道路指示我们，我们也要遵行他的道；因为教训必出于锡安。耶和华的话要来自耶路撒冷。

耶和华啊！求你把你的律例指教我，我必遵守到底。

到了中午，以利亚嘲笑他们，说：“大声呼求吧，因为他是神，也许他正在默想，或事务繁忙，或正在旅行，或正在睡觉，你们要把他叫醒。”他们就大声呼求，按着他们的规矩，用刀和枪刺自己，直到身体流血。中午过后，他们继续狂呼乱叫，直到献晚祭的时候；可是仍没有声音，没有回应，也没有理睬他们的。以利亚对众人说：“你们走近我这里来。”众人就都走近他面前。他重修已经毁坏了的耶和华的祭坛。以利亚照着雅各子孙支派的数目，拿了十二块石头。（耶和华的话曾临到雅各说：“你的名要叫以色列。”）以利亚奉耶和华的名用这些石头筑了一座坛，在坛的四周挖沟，可容十四公升种籽，然后把柴排好，又把公牛切成块子，放在柴上，就说：“你们盛满四桶水，倒在燔祭和柴上。”又说：“倒第二次。”他们就倒第二次；又说：“倒第三次。”他们就倒第三次。水流到祭坛的四周，甚至水沟里也满了水。到了献晚祭的时候，以利亚先知近前来，说：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神耶和华，求你今天使人知道你是在以色列中的神，我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命令行这一切事。耶和华啊，求你应允我，应允我！使这民知道你耶和华是神，又知道是你使这民的心再回转过来的。”于是有耶和华的火降下来，吞灭了燔祭、木柴、石头和尘土，连沟里的水也烧干了。众人看见了，就面伏于地，说：“耶和华是神！耶和华是神！”以利亚对他们说：“捉住巴力的先知，一个也不要让他们逃脱。”于是众人捉住他们。以利亚带他们下到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

谁是那敬畏耶和华的人？耶和华必指示他应选择的道路。

耶和华啊！求你因我仇敌的缘故，按着你的公义引导我，在我面前铺平你的道路。

耶和华啊！求你把你的道路指教我，使我行在你的真理中，专心敬畏你的名。

我要教导你，指示你应走的路；我要劝戒你，我的眼睛看顾你。

耶和华是良善和正直的，因此他必指示罪人走正路。

那里必有一条大路，要称为“圣路”；不洁净的人不能经过，那是为那些行走正路的人预备的；愚昧的人不会在路上留连。

求你使我清晨得闻你的慈爱，因为我倚靠你。求你指示我当走的路，因为我的心仰望你。

他们派了自己的门徒和希律党的人一同去问耶稣：“老师，我们知道你为人诚实，照着真理把神的道教导人，不顾忌任何人，因为你不徇情面。

请为我们求耶和华你的神指示我们当走的路和该作的事。”

“你的子民因得罪了你，你惩罚他们，使天闭塞不下雨；如果他们向着这地方祷告，承认你的名，离开他们的罪，求你在天上垂听，赦免你的仆人和你的子民以色列的罪，把他们当行的正道指教他们，降雨在你的地上，就是你赐给你的子民作产业的地上。

每当你偏左或偏右的时候，你必听见后面有声音说：“这是正路，要行在其中！”

神啊！你降下大雨，使你贫瘠的产业得到滋润。
