「人若得罪鄰舍，有人叫他起誓，他來到這殿在你的壇前起誓，

“如果有人得罪他的邻居被迫起誓，他来到这殿在你的祭坛前起誓的时候，

「如果有人得罪鄰舍，被叫到這殿中，在你的壇前起誓，

“如果有人得罪他的鄰居被迫起誓，他來到這殿在你的祭壇前起誓的時候，

『人若得罪他的鄰舍，有人叫他用一種咒語來起誓，他來到這殿，在你的祭壇前起誓；

人若獲罪於鄰、令其發誓、則至此室、在爾壇前發誓、

如人與同儕有所干犯、使至此殿、發誓於壇前、

人若獲罪於人、乃使其發誓、以徵其言、遂至此殿主之祭臺前發誓、

“ When anyone wrongs their neighbor and is required to take an oath and they come and swear the oath before your altar in this temple,

“ Suppose someone does something wrong to their neighbor. And the person who has done something wrong is required to give their word. They must tell the truth about what they have done. They must come and do it in front of your altar in this temple.

“ If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath and comes and swears his oath before your altar in this house,

“ If someone wrongs another person and is required to take an oath of innocence in front of your altar in this Temple,

“ If a person sins against his neighbor and is compelled to take an oath of innocence, and he comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this house,

If a man sin against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and he come and swear before thine altar in this house;

“ When someone is accused of sinning against his neighbor and the latter pronounces a curse on the alleged offender before your altar in this temple, be willing to forgive the accused if the accusation is false.

“ If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house;

若找不到賊，那家主必就近審判官，要看看他拿了原主的物件沒有。「兩個人的案件，無論是為甚麼過犯，或是為牛，為驢，為羊，為衣裳，或是為甚麼失掉之物，有一人說：『這是我的』，兩造就要將案件稟告審判官，審判官定誰有罪，誰就要加倍賠還。「人若將驢，或牛，或羊，或別的牲畜，交付鄰舍看守，牲畜或死，或受傷，或被趕去，無人看見，那看守的人要憑着耶和華起誓，手裏未曾拿鄰舍的物，本主就要罷休，看守的人不必賠還。

恐怕我飽足不認你，說：耶和華是誰呢？又恐怕我貧窮就偷竊，以致褻瀆我神的名。

「祭司要使那婦人近前來，站在耶和華面前。祭司要把聖水盛在瓦器裏，又從帳幕的地上取點塵土，放在水中。祭司要叫那婦人蓬頭散髮，站在耶和華面前，把思念的素祭，就是疑恨的素祭，放在她手中。祭司手裏拿着致咒詛的苦水，要叫婦人起誓，對她說：『若沒有人與你行淫，也未曾背着丈夫做污穢的事，你就免受這致咒詛苦水的災。你若背着丈夫行了污穢的事，在你丈夫以外有人與你行淫，（祭司叫婦人發咒起誓），願耶和華叫你大腿消瘦，肚腹發脹，使你在你民中被人咒詛，成了誓語；並且這致咒詛的水入你的腸中，要叫你的肚腹發脹，大腿消瘦。』婦人要回答說：『阿們，阿們。』

「若有人聽見發誓的聲音，他本是見證，卻不把所看見的、所知道的說出來，這就是罪；他要擔當他的罪孽。

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人叫他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，求你從天上垂聽，判斷你的僕人，定惡人有罪，照他所行的報應在他頭上；定義人有理，照他的義賞賜他。
