If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

Lord, hear. Lord, forgive. Lord, listen and do. Don’t defer, for your own sake, my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.”

Don’t be rash with your mouth, and don’t let your heart be hasty to utter anything before God; for God is in heaven, and you on earth. Therefore let your words be few.

and said,“ I beg you, Yahweh, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments:Let your ear now be attentive, and your eyes open, that you may listen to the prayer of your servant, which I pray before you at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel your servants, while I confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Yes, I and my father’s house have sinned.

I lift up my eyes to you, you who sit in the heavens.

Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.

Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?

They lived in it, and have built you a sanctuary in it for your name, saying,‘ If evil comes on us— the sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine— we will stand before this house, and before you( for your name is in this house), and cry to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save.’
