Now, O LORD, God of Israel, keep the promise you made to your servant, my father David, when you said,‘ You will never fail to have a successor ruling before me on the throne of Israel, provided that your descendants watch their step and serve me as you have done.’

耶和华以色列的神啊，你所应许你仆人我父大卫的话说：‘你的子孙若谨慎自己的行为，在我面前行事像你所行的一样，就不断人坐以色列的国位。’现在求你应验这话。

耶和华—以色列的上帝啊，你向你仆人我父大卫应许说：‘你的子孙若谨慎自己的行为，在我面前行事像你所行的一样，就不断有人在我面前坐以色列的王位。’现在求你信守这话。

耶和华—以色列的神啊，你向你仆人我父大卫应许说：‘你的子孙若谨慎自己的行为，在我面前行事像你所行的一样，就不断有人在我面前坐以色列的王位。’现在求你信守这话。

“以色列的上帝耶和华啊，你曾对你仆人——我父大卫说，‘你的子孙若像你一样谨慎行事、遵行我的旨意，你的王朝就不会中断。’求你信守这应许。

耶和华以色列的神啊，现在求你谨守你应许你仆人我父亲大卫的话：‘只要你的子孙谨守他们的行为，像你在我面前所行的一样，就必不断有人坐以色列的王位。’

耶和華－以色列的神啊，你所應許你僕人－我父大衛的話說：『你的子孫若謹慎自己的行為，在我面前行事像你所行的一樣，就不斷人坐以色列的國位。』現在求你應驗這話。

耶和華－以色列的上帝啊，你向你僕人我父大衛應許說：『你的子孫若謹慎自己的行為，在我面前行事像你所行的一樣，就不斷有人在我面前坐以色列的王位。』現在求你信守這話。

耶和華－以色列的神啊，你向你僕人我父大衛應許說：『你的子孫若謹慎自己的行為，在我面前行事像你所行的一樣，就不斷有人在我面前坐以色列的王位。』現在求你信守這話。

「以色列的上帝耶和華啊，你曾對你僕人——我父大衛說，『你的子孫若像你一樣謹慎行事、遵行我的旨意，你的王朝就不會中斷。』求你信守這應許。

耶和華以色列的神啊，現在求你謹守你應許你僕人我父親大衛的話：‘只要你的子孫謹守他們的行為，像你在我面前所行的一樣，就必不斷有人坐以色列的王位。’

永恆主以色列的上帝啊，你對你僕人我父親大衛曾經應許說：「只要你的子孫謹慎他們所行的路，行於我面前、像你行於我面前一樣，那麼你的後裔就必不斷有人在我面前坐以色列的王位」，現在求你守這句話的約吧。

以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾許爾僕我父大衛曰、若爾子孫慎其道途、行於我前、克肖乎爾、則爾必不乏人、居以色列國位、今求踐爾所言、

以色列族之上帝耶和華、又許爾僕我父大闢、曰、如爾子孫所為謹恪、行於我前、克肖乎爾、則必不絶爾嗣、繼以色列國位。

主以色列之天主歟、曾許主之僕我父大衛曰、爾之子孫、如能法爾、謹慎其道、行於我前、則必不絕爾後嗣在我前坐以色列之國位、今求主踐其言、

“ Now Lord, the God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father the promises you made to him when you said,‘ You shall never fail to have a successor to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your descendants are careful in all they do to walk before me faithfully as you have done.’

“ Lord, you are the God of Israel. Keep the promises you made to my father David. Do it for him. He was your servant. Here is what you said to him.‘ A son from your family line will sit before me on the throne of Israel. This will always be true if your children after you are careful in everything they do. They must live in my sight faithfully the way you have lived.’

Now therefore, O Lord, God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father what you have promised him, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’

“ And now, O Lord, God of Israel, carry out the additional promise you made to your servant David, my father. For you said to him,‘ If your descendants guard their behavior and faithfully follow me as you have done, one of them will always sit on the throne of Israel.’

Therefore, LORD God of Israel, keep what you promised to your servant, my father David: You will never fail to have a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons take care to walk before me as you have walked before me.

Now then, Lord, God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You have promised him, saying,‘ You shall not be deprived of a man to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful about their way, to walk before Me as you have walked.’

Therefore, Lord God of Israel, now keep what You promised Your servant David my father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man sit before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as you have walked before Me.’

Now therefore, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Therefore, Lord God of Israel, keep what You promised to Your servant, my father David: You will never fail to have a man to sit before Me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons guard their walk before Me as you have walked before Me.

Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Now therefore, may Yahweh, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying,‘ There shall not fail from you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’

and the LORD will fulfill his promise to me,‘ If your descendants watch their step and live faithfully in my presence with all their heart and being, then,’ he promised,‘ you will not fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

Now, O LORD God of Israel, keep the promise you made to your servant, my father David, when you said,‘ You will never fail to have a successor ruling before me on the throne of Israel, provided that your descendants watch their step and obey my law as you have done.’Now, O LORD God of Israel, may the promise you made to your servant David be realized.

You must serve me with integrity and sincerity, just as your father David did. Do everything I commanded and obey my rules and regulations.Then I will allow your dynasty to rule over Israel permanently, just as I promised your father David,‘ You will not fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’“ But if you or your sons ever turn away from me, fail to obey the regulations and rules I instructed you to keep, and decide to serve and worship other gods,

“ And you, Solomon my son, obey the God of your father and serve him with a submissive attitude and a willing spirit, for the LORD examines all minds and understands every motive of one’s thoughts. If you seek him, he will let you find him, but if you abandon him, he will reject you permanently.

For I, the LORD, promise:“ David will never lack a successor to occupy the throne over the nation of Israel.Nor will the Levitical priests ever lack someone to stand before me and continually offer up burnt offerings, sacrifice cereal offerings, and offer the other sacrifices.”’”The LORD spoke further to Jeremiah.“ I, LORD, make the following promise:‘ I have made a covenant with the day and with the night that they will always come at their proper times. Only if you people could break that covenantcould my covenant with my servant David and my covenant with the Levites ever be broken. So David will by all means always have a descendant to occupy his throne as king and the Levites will by all means always have priests who will minister before me.I will make the children who follow one another in the line of my servant David very numerous. I will also make the Levites who minister before me very numerous. I will make them all as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sands which are on the seashore.’”The LORD spoke still further to Jeremiah.“ You have surely noticed what these people are saying, haven’t you? They are saying,‘ The LORD has rejected the two families of Israel and Judah that he chose.’ So they have little regard that my people will ever again be a nation.But I, the LORD, make the following promise: I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth.Just as surely as I have done this, so surely will I never reject the descendants of Jacob. Nor will I ever refuse to choose one of my servant David’s descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Indeed, I will restore them and show mercy to them.”

So now, O LORD, may the promise you made about your servant and his family become a permanent reality! Do as you promised,so it may become a reality and you may gain lasting fame, as people say,‘ The LORD who commands armies is the God of Israel.’ David’s dynasty will be established before you,for you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a dynasty for him. That is why your servant has had the courage to pray to you.Now, O LORD, you are the true God; you have made this good promise to your servant.Now you are willing to bless your servant’s dynasty so that it may stand permanently before you, for you, O LORD, have blessed it and it will be blessed from now on into the future.”

“ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he has come to help and has redeemed his people.For he has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,as he spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from long ago,that we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us.He has done this to show mercy to our ancestors, and to remember his holy covenant–

for you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have told your servant,‘ I will build you a dynastic house.’ That is why your servant has had the courage to pray this prayer to you.Now, O sovereign LORD, you are the true God! May your words prove to be true! You have made this good promise to your servant!Now be willing to bless your servant’s dynasty so that it may stand permanently before you, for you, O sovereign LORD, have spoken. By your blessing may your servant’s dynasty be blessed on into the future!”
