獻夕祭之時、忍憂而起、衣袍俱裂、屈膝而跽、向我上帝耶和華舉手、

所羅門屈膝、跪於耶和華壇前、張手向天、禱告祈求於耶和華既畢、則起、

摩西退、出邑、舉手以禱耶和華、雷雹即止、雨不復注、

爾舉手、我則掩目、爾多禱、我不俯聽、爾手盈以血也、

摩西曰、俟我出邑、即舉手以禱耶和華、雷必止、雹不降、使爾知宇內悉屬耶和華、

所羅門立於耶和華壇前、以色列會眾咸在、王乃張手、所羅門曾造銅臺、長五肘、寬五肘、高三肘、置於院中、遂立其上、在以色列會眾前、屈膝而跪、向天張手、曰、以色列之上帝耶和華歟、在天在地、無神可比、爾僕克盡厥心、行於爾前、爾為之踐約施恩、爾許爾僕我父大衛之言應矣、爾口許之、而手成之、有如今日、以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾許爾僕我父大衛曰、若爾子孫謹慎己道、遵守我律、如爾所行、則爾必不乏人、居以色列國位、今求踐爾所言、以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾與爾僕大衛所言者、願爾成之、然上帝豈真與世人同居於地乎、天與天上之天、不足容爾、況我所建之室乎、惟願我之上帝耶和華、垂顧爾僕之禱告祈求、俯聽僕在爾前之籲禱、願爾之目、晝夜垂顧此室、即爾所言寄名之所、俯聽爾僕向此所祈、爾僕與爾民以色列、向此祈禱時、求爾自天爾之居所垂聽、而加赦宥、人若獲罪於鄰、令其發誓、則至此室、在爾壇前發誓、求爾自天垂聽、訊鞫爾僕、惡者報之、依其所行、報於其首、義者義之、如其義以賞之、如爾民以色列、因獲罪爾、敗於敵前、回轉而認爾名、在此室禱告祈求於爾、願爾自天垂聽、赦爾民以色列之罪、導之歸爾賜彼及其列祖之地、民獲罪爾、致天閉塞不雨、遭爾罰時、若向此祈禱、而認爾名、改悔厥罪、求爾在天垂聽、赦宥爾僕及爾民以色列之罪、誨以當行之善道、降雨於爾地、即爾所錫爾民為業者、如斯土有饑饉疫癘、五穀枯槁霉爛、或有蝻蝗蚱蜢、或有仇敵犯境、圍其城邑、無論何災何疾、爾民以色列、或一人、或眾人、自覺其殃其苦、若向此室張手、無論何所禱、何所祈、願爾自天爾之居所垂聽、而加赦宥、爾知其心、循各人所行而報之、世人之心、惟爾知之、使其在爾賜我列祖之地、畢生寅畏爾、遵行爾道、至於外族、不屬爾民以色列者、為爾大名、能手奮臂、自遠方來、向此室祈禱、求爾自天爾之居所垂聽、依外族所祈者而行、使天下億兆、咸知爾名、而寅畏爾、如爾民以色列然、亦知我所建之室、以爾名稱之、如爾民奉爾所遣、無論何途、出與敵戰、向爾所簡之邑、及我為爾名所建之室、祈禱於爾、願爾自天聽其禱告祈求、而保其義、夫人未有不干罪者、如爾民獲罪於爾、因爾震怒、付之於敵、虜至異域、或遠或近、如在俘囚之地、思念改悔、懇求於爾曰、我儕犯罪、悖逆作惡、在敵人虜者之地、一心一意歸爾、向其故土、爾所賜其列祖者、與爾所簡之邑、及我為爾名所建之室祈禱、願爾自天爾之居所、聽其禱告祈求、而保其義、寬恕干犯於爾之民、我上帝歟、在此之禱、願爾啟目顧之、側耳聽之、耶和華上帝歟、願爾興起、與有權力之匱、入爾安息之所、耶和華上帝歟、願爾之祭司被以拯救、願爾之聖民樂於福祉、耶和華上帝歟、爾之受膏者、勿厭棄之、所施爾僕大衛之恩寵、尚其垂念焉、

王立於柱側、在耶和華前立約、一心一意順從耶和華、守其誡命、法度典章、以成約書所載之言、民亦服從此約、

我畢生頌美爾、奉爾名而舉手兮、

爾若秉心正直、向上帝舉手、

望見王循常例立於柱側、百夫長與吹角者侍於王側、四境之民懽忻吹角、亞他利雅裂衣、呼曰、叛矣、叛矣、

故我欲人無怒無爭、舉維聖之手隨在祈禱、

我向爾至聖所、舉手呼籲、尚其垂聽我懇求兮、
