“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the Lord.

So Solomon held the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly that came from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt.And on the eighth day they held a solemn assembly, because they held the dedication of the altar for seven days, and the feast for seven days.Then on the twenty third day of the seventh month he sent the people to their tents, rejoicing and happy in heart because of the goodness that the Lord had shown to David, to Solomon, and to His people Israel.

“ You shall celebrate the Feast of Booths for seven days when you have gathered in from your threshing floor and your wine vat;

So Solomon held the feast at that time, and all Israel with him, a great assembly from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt, before the Lord our God, for seven days and seven more days, that is, fourteen days.

They also celebrated the Feast of Booths, as it is written, and offered the prescribed number of burnt offerings daily, according to the ordinance, as each day required;

Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of armies, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of armies, there will be no rain on them.And if the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was near.

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.

Indeed, the sons of Israel had not done so since the days of Joshua the son of Nun to that day. And there was very great rejoicing.He read from the Book of the Law of God daily, from the first day to the last day. And they celebrated the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a festive assembly in accordance with the ordinance.

‘ Then on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall celebrate with a feast to the Lord for seven days.You shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma to the Lord: thirteen bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old, which are without defect;and their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil: three tenths of an ephah for each of the thirteen bulls, two tenths for each of the two rams,and a tenth for each of the fourteen lambs;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ Then on the second day: twelve bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings.‘ Then on the third day: eleven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ Then on the fourth day: ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ Then on the fifth day: nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ Then on the sixth day: eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offerings.‘ Then on the seventh day: seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without defect;and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ On the eighth day you shall have a sacred assembly; you shall do no laborious work.But you shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the Lord: one bull, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old without defect;their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ You shall present these to the Lord at your appointed times, besides your vowed offerings and your voluntary offerings, for your burnt offerings, your grain offerings, your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.’ ”And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel in accordance with everything that the Lord had commanded Moses.
