Then King Solomon summoned into his presence at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David.

Then King Solomon sent for the elders of Israel. He told them to come to him in Jerusalem. They included all the leaders of the tribes. They also included the chiefs of the families of Israel. Solomon wanted them to bring up the ark of the Lord’ s covenant from Zion. Zion was the City of David.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the people of Israel, before King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Solomon then summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes— the leaders of the ancestral families of the Israelites. They were to bring the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant to the Temple from its location in the City of David, also known as Zion.

At that time Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, all the tribal heads and the ancestral leaders of the Israelites before him at Jerusalem in order to bring the ark of the LORD’s covenant from the city of David, that is Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ households of the sons of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the city of David, that is, Zion.

Then Solomon convened in Jerusalem Israel’s elders, all the leaders of the Israelite tribes and families, so they could witness the transferal of the ark of the LORD’s covenant from the city of David( that is, Zion).

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, with all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to king Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Yahweh’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.

於是大衛與以色列長老、及千夫長、歡然往舁耶和華之約匱、自俄別以東家而上、

或告大衛王曰、耶和華緣上帝之匱、錫嘏於俄別以東家、及凡所有、大衛遂往、懽然舁上帝匱、自俄別以東室、至大衛城、舁耶和華匱者既行六步、大衛獻牛與肥犢各一、大衛衣枲聖衣、竭力舞蹈於耶和華前、大衛及以色列家歡呼吹角、舁耶和華匱而至、耶和華匱入大衛城時、掃羅女米甲自牖而窺、見大衛王踴躍舞蹈於耶和華前、中心鄙夷之、眾舁耶和華匱而入、置於其所、在大衛所張之幕、大衛獻燔祭及酬恩祭於耶和華、

所羅門既寤、則知為夢、遂返耶路撒冷、立於耶和華約匱前、獻燔祭酬恩祭、宴其臣僕、○

希西家遣使往以色列及猶大地、並致書於以法蓮瑪拿西人、使之咸至耶路撒冷耶和華室、守逾越節、奉事以色列之上帝耶和華、

主耶和華曰、我置石於錫安以為基、乃經驗寶貴之隅石、其址鞏固、信之者不驚惶、

我義伊邇、相距不遠、我之拯救、不復遲延、我必為彰我榮之以色列、施拯救於錫安焉、

大衛居其保障、故稱曰大衛城、

乃召以色列眾、及其長老族長、士師有司、謂之曰、我壽高年邁、

大衛集以色列眾於耶路撒冷、以舁耶和華匱、至其所備之所、

俾人宣耶和華名於郇、播其聲譽於耶路撒冷、

約書亞集以色列諸支派於示劍、召其長老族長、士師有司、咸至、立於上帝前、

七月既屆、以色列族居於故邑、眾如一人、集於耶路撒冷、

居郇之耶和華、宜歌頌之、宣其作為於諸民兮、

然大衛取錫安之保障、即大衛城、當日大衛曰、擊耶布斯人者、其至水溝、擊大衛中心所惡之跛者瞽者、故成諺曰、有彼瞽者跛者、人不能入其室、大衛居其保障、名之曰大衛城、在米羅之內、四周築垣、

大衛與千夫長、百夫長、諸將會議、謂以色列會眾曰、爾曹若以為善、此事由於我上帝耶和華、則可遣人往以色列全地、請我儕其餘之昆弟、及居邑郊之祭司利未人、使之咸集於此、我儕舁上帝匱而至、蓋掃羅時、我儕未嘗諮諏於匱、會眾曰、我必如是而行、民眾咸視斯事為善也、於是大衛集以色列人、自埃及之西曷溪、至哈馬界、欲自基列耶琳、舁上帝匱至、

大衛又集以色列中所簡三萬人、起而率之至巴拉猶大、欲舁上帝之匱、此匱乃以居基路伯上、萬軍之耶和華名而名者、

耶和華約匱入大衛城時、掃羅女米甲自牖而窺、見大衛王踴躍舞蹈、中心鄙夷之、眾舁上帝匱入城、置於大衛所張之幕、獻燔祭及酬恩祭於上帝前、

經云、我以所選而寶之屋隅首石、置於錫安、信之者不啟羞、

大衛集以色列諸牧伯、支派長、更迭事王之班長、千夫長、百夫長、掌王與王子之產業牲畜者、以及宦官戰士、所有勇士、俱至耶路撒冷、

至拿艮禾場、牛蹶、烏撒伸手扶上帝匱、
