He built the throne hall, the Hall of Justice, where he was to judge, and he covered it with cedar from floor to ceiling.

Solomon built the throne hall. It was called the Hall of Justice. That’s where he would serve as judge. He covered the hall with cedar boards from floor to ceiling.

And he made the Hall of the Throne where he was to pronounce judgment, even the Hall of Judgment. It was finished with cedar from floor to rafters.

Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the finest gold.There were six steps to the throne, and the top of the throne was round behind; and there were stays on either side by the place of the seat, and two lions standing beside the stays.And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.

And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.

Give thy servant therefore an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this thy great people?
