他又照所規定的樣式造了金燈臺十個，放在殿堂裏，五個在南邊，五個在北邊。

我又應聲問天使說：『這燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思？』我第二次應聲問他說：『這兩根橄欖樹枝、在兩個流出金色油的金管旁邊的、是甚麼意思？』他對我說：『你不知道這一些是甚麼意思麼？』我說：『主啊，我不知道。』他說：『這是兩個盛產新油、侍立在全地之主旁邊的。』

那跟我說話的天使又來叫醒了我，好像人睡覺被喚醒一樣。他問我說：『你看見了甚麼？』我說：『我觀看，忽見一個燈臺，全是金的，其頂上有油盆；燈臺上有七盞燈；其頂上的七盞燈有七個管子。旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，一棵在油盆的右邊，一棵在左邊。』

你所看見那在我右手中的七顆星和七個金燈臺的象徵奧祕是：那七顆星是七個教會的使者；那七個燈臺是七個教會。『你要寫信給在以弗所的教會的使者說：『「那把七顆星握住在右手中、在七個金燈臺中間走來走去的、這麼說

『你要用淨金作一個燈臺；那燈臺是要用錘的法子作的；它的座和榦、跟杯、球、花、都要接連在一塊。燈臺的兩邊要杈出六個枝子：一邊三個燈臺枝子，另一邊三個燈臺枝子。在這邊的每一枝上有三個杯、作像杏花的樣子，有球有花；在那邊的每一枝上也有三個杯、作像杏花的樣子，有球有花：從燈臺杈出來的六個枝子、都是這樣。燈臺上有四個杯、作像杏花的樣子，有球有花。兩個枝子的下面有球和它相連；又兩個枝子的下面有球和它相連；又兩個枝子的下面有球和它相連：從燈臺杈出來的六個枝子都是這樣。它們的球和枝子要連在一塊，都是一塊淨金錘出來的。你要作燈臺的七個燈盞；這樣燈盞要掛上，使它照亮對面的地方。燈臺的蠟剪和蠟花盤是要淨金的。作燈臺和這一切的器具、要用一擔淨金。你要謹慎，照在山上指示你的模型去作。

燈臺和燈盞、按照規定可以在內殿前面點的，是用精金作的，

他們要拿藍紫色的布，把燈火臺、帶燈盞、蠟剪和蠟花盤、跟一切盛油的器皿、就是供職用的器皿、都蓋上；
