又照著規定的樣式做了十個金燈臺，放在殿內；五個在右邊，五個在左邊。

我又再問那天使：“在這燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思？”我又問他：“在兩根流出金色油的金管子旁邊的兩根橄欖樹枝，究竟是甚麼意思？”他回答我：“你不知道這些是甚麼意思嗎？”我說：“我主啊，我不知道。”他說：“這是兩位受膏者（“受膏者”或譯：“供應新油的人”），是服事全地之主的。”

那與我說話的天使回來喚醒我，我好像人在睡眠中被人喚醒一樣。他對我說：“你看見了甚麼？”我回答：“我看見一個金燈臺，整個是金的，頂上有一個盆子，並有七盞燈；頂上的燈有七個燈嘴。盆子旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，一棵在右邊，一棵在左邊。”

你所看見在我右手中的七星和七個金燈臺的奧祕就是這樣：七星是七個教會的使者，七燈臺是七個教會。”“你要寫信給在以弗所教會的使者，說：‘那右手拿著七星，在七個金燈臺中間行走的，這樣說：

“你要用純金做一個燈臺，那燈臺你要用鎚錘成；燈臺的座、幹、杯、球、花，都要與燈臺連在一起。燈臺的兩邊伸出六個枝子；一邊有三個燈臺枝子，另一邊也有三個燈臺枝子。在第一個枝子上有三個杯，形狀像杏花，有球、有花；在另外一個枝子也有三個杯，形狀像杏花，有球、有花。從燈臺伸出的六個枝子，都是這樣。燈臺上有四個杯，形狀像杏花，有球、有花。每兩個枝子的下面有球和燈臺相連，從燈臺伸出來的六個枝子，都是這樣。球和枝子都要與燈臺連在一起，都是從一塊純金錘成的。你要做燈臺上的七個燈盞，這些燈盞要放在燈臺之上，使燈光照亮對面的地方。燈臺上的燈剪和燈花盆，也是要純金做的。要用三十五公斤純金做燈臺和一切器具。你要留心照著在山上指示你的樣式去做。”

純金的燈臺與燈盞，就是擺列在燈臺上的燈盞和燈臺上的一切器具，以及點燈用的油；

摩西把燈臺設立在會幕裡，在帳幕的南面，與桌子相對。在耶和華面前把燈盞點著，是照著耶和華吩咐摩西的。

你們是世上的光。建在山上的城是無法隱藏的；人點了燈，不會放在量器底下，而是放在燈臺上，就照亮一家人。照樣，你們的光也應當照在人前，讓他們看見你們的好行為，又頌讚你們在天上的父。

他用純金做了一個燈臺，他用鎚錘成燈臺；燈臺的座和幹，跟杯、球、花，都是連在一起的。燈臺的兩邊伸出六個枝子，這一邊有三個燈臺枝子，那一邊也有三個燈臺枝子。在這一個枝子有三個杯，形狀好像杏花，有球、有花；在那一個枝子上也有三個杯，形狀好像杏花，有球、有花。從燈臺那裡伸出來的六個枝子都是這樣。燈臺上有四個杯，形狀好像杏花，有球、有花；從燈臺伸出的每兩個枝子以下都有一個球，燈臺的六個枝子都是這樣。這些球和枝子都是連在一起的，全都是一塊純金錘成的。又用純金做燈臺的七個燈盞、燭剪和蠟花盤碟。他用了三十五公斤純金做燈臺和燈臺的一切器具。

用純金做的燈臺和燈盞，按定例在內殿門前燃點，

他們要拿藍色布，把燈臺和燈臺上的燈盞、剪子、蠟花盤，以及為燈臺所用一切盛油的器具遮蓋起來。
