Solomon also made all the furnishings that were in the Lord’s temple: the golden altar; the golden table on which was the bread of the Presence;

So Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of the Lord: the golden altar, the golden table for the bread of the Presence,

Moses installed the gold altar in the tent of meeting, in front of the curtain,

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot share in the Lord’s table and the table of demons.

The altar was made of wood, 5¼ feet high and 3½ feet long. It had corners, and its length and sides were of wood. The man told me,“ This is the table that stands before the LORD.”

He made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, eighteen inches long and eighteen inches wide; it was thirty-six inches high. Then he made a gold molding all around it.He made two gold rings for it under the molding on two of its sides; he put these on opposite sides of it to be holders for the poles to carry it with.He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.He also made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant, and expertly blended incense.

There were also four tables of cut stone for the burnt offering, each 31½ inches long, 31½ inches wide, and 21 inches high. The utensils used to slaughter the burnt offerings and other sacrifices were placed on them.

“ But you are profaning it when you say,‘ The Lord’s table is defiled, and its product, its food, is contemptible.’

“ They are the ones who may enter my sanctuary and approach my table to serve me. They will keep my mandate.

“ You are to make an altar for the burning of incense; make it of acacia wood.It must be square, eighteen inches long and eighteen inches wide; it must be thirty-six inches high. Its horns must be of one piece with it.Overlay its top, all around its sides, and its horns with pure gold; make a gold molding all around it.Make two gold rings for it under the molding on two of its sides; put these on opposite sides of it to be holders for the poles to carry it with.Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.

Inside the gate’s portico there were two tables on each side, on which to slaughter the burnt offering, sin offering, and guilt offering.

Moses placed the table in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the curtain.He arranged the bread on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.

“ Take fine flour and bake it into twelve loaves; each loaf is to be made with four quarts.Arrange them in two rows, six to a row, on the pure gold table before the LORD.Place pure frankincense near each row, so that it may serve as a memorial portion for the bread and a food offering to the LORD.The bread is to be set out before the LORD every Sabbath day as a permanent covenant obligation on the part of the Israelites.It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place, for it is the holiest portion for him from the food offerings to the LORD; this is a permanent rule.”
