寶座前有一個如同水晶的玻璃海。寶座的周圍，四邊有四個活物，遍體前後都長滿了眼睛。第一個活物像獅子，第二個像牛犢，第三個的臉像人臉，第四個像飛鷹。

牆上雕刻基路伯和棕樹，基路伯和基路伯之間有一棵棕樹，每基路伯有兩張臉；人的臉向着這邊的棕樹，獅子的臉向着那邊的棕樹，殿內四周圍都是如此。

他把兩個基路伯安在內殿中間。基路伯的翅膀是張開的，這基路伯的一個翅膀挨着這邊的牆，第二個基路伯的一個翅膀挨着那邊的牆，向內的兩個翅膀在殿中間彼此相接。

耶和華上帝把那人趕出去，就在伊甸園東邊安設基路伯和發出火焰轉動的劍，把守生命樹的道路。
