至於臉的形像：前面各有人的臉，右面各有獅子的臉，左面各有牛的臉，後面各有鷹的臉。

我必向以法蓮如獅子，向猶大家如少壯獅子。我必撕裂而去，我要奪去，無人搭救。

寶座前好像一個玻璃海，如同水晶。寶座中和寶座周圍有四個活物，前後遍體都滿了眼睛。第一個活物像獅子，第二個像牛犢，第三個臉面像人，第四個像飛鷹。

牆上雕刻基路伯和棕樹。每二基路伯中間有一棵棕樹，每基路伯有二臉。這邊有人臉向着棕樹，那邊有獅子臉向着棕樹，殿內周圍都是如此。

他將兩個基路伯安在內殿裏；基路伯的翅膀是張開的，這基路伯的一個翅膀挨着這邊的牆，那基路伯的一個翅膀挨着那邊的牆，裏邊的兩個翅膀在殿中間彼此相接；

於是把他趕出去了；又在伊甸園的東邊安設基路伯和四面轉動發火焰的劍，要把守生命樹的道路。
