「看啊，在猶大支派中我已經親自選出戶珥的孫子、烏利的兒子比撒列，用我的靈充滿他，使他有聰明智慧，精於各種技能和手藝，懂得用金、銀和銅製造各式各樣精巧的器具，又能雕刻和鑲嵌寶石，精通木工和各種手藝。我委派但支派亞希撒抹的兒子亞何利亞伯做他的助手。至於其他能工巧匠，我已賜給他們智慧，好照我對你的吩咐製造一切器具，

摩西對以色列人說：「看啊，耶和華已經親自選出猶大支派中戶珥的孫子、烏利的兒子比撒列，上帝的靈已經充滿他，使他有聰明智慧，精於各種技能和手藝，懂得用金、銀和銅製造各式各樣精巧的器具，又能雕刻和鑲嵌寶石，精通木工和各種手藝。耶和華又使他與但支派亞希撒抹的兒子亞何利亞伯有能力教授別人。耶和華使他們成為能工巧匠，精通各樣技藝，包括雕刻、圖案設計、紡織以及用細麻線和藍色、紫色、朱紅色的線刺繡。」摩西說：「比撒列、亞何利亞伯以及所有蒙耶和華賜智慧聰明、有技能、懂得如何建造聖所的人，都要按照耶和華的吩咐去做。」於是，摩西召來比撒列、亞何利亞伯和所有蒙耶和華賜智慧、有技能、願意參與建造的人。

因為上帝指點他，教導他耕種之道。
