感謝父——他使你們能夠分享聖徒們在光明中的繼業；

為此而預備我們的就是神；他賜給我們聖靈做為預付憑據。

這樣，教會在猶太、加利利、撒馬利亞全地得平安、得造就，並且懷著對主的敬畏之心不斷地前行，在聖靈的安慰中不斷地增長。

至於從上面來的智慧，首先是純潔的，然後是和平的、謙和的、溫順的，滿有憐憫和美好的果子的，是不偏私、不虛假的；並且義行的果子，是由那些締造和平的人，在和平中種下的。

因為人的憤怒不能成就神的義。
