感谢父——他使你们能够分享圣徒们在光明中的继业；

为此而预备我们的就是神；他赐给我们圣灵做为预付凭据。

这样，教会在犹太、加利利、撒马利亚全地得平安、得造就，并且怀着对主的敬畏之心不断地前行，在圣灵的安慰中不断地增长。

至于从上面来的智慧，首先是纯洁的，然后是和平的、谦和的、温顺的，满有怜悯和美好的果子的，是不偏私、不虚假的；并且义行的果子，是由那些缔造和平的人，在和平中种下的。

因为人的愤怒不能成就神的义。
