And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about,[ against] the walls of the house round about,[ both] of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:

緊靠殿牆，就是圍著外殿和內殿的牆，他又建造平臺，圍繞殿的四周，做成廂房。

他建造了樓房靠着殿的牆、圍着殿四圍的牆；對着殿堂和內殿他四圍造了廂房。

殿與內殿四周、依牆建樓、四周有屋、

前後之殿、其四周附墻作臺、以建複樓、

附殿墻、前殿後殿四周、旁建樓房、

Against the walls of the main hall and inner sanctuary he built a structure around the building, in which there were side rooms.

He built side rooms around the temple. They were built against the walls of the main hall and the Most Holy Room.

He also built a structure against the wall of the house, running around the walls of the house, both the nave and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

He built a complex of rooms against the outer walls of the Temple, all the way around the sides and rear of the building.

He then built a chambered structure along the temple wall, encircling the walls of the temple, that is, the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

Against the wall of the house he built stories encompassing the walls of the house around both the main room and the inner sanctuary; so he made side chambers all around.

Against the wall of the temple he built chambers all around, against the walls of the temple, all around the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. Thus he made side chambers all around it.

And against the wall of the house he built stories round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle; and he made side- chambers round about.

He then built a chambered structure along the temple wall, encircling the walls of the temple, that is, the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

He built an extension all around the walls of the temple’s main hall and holy place and constructed side rooms in it.

Against the wall of the house, he built floors all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the inner sanctuary; and he made side rooms all around.

And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built[ them] for it within,[ even] for the oracle,[ even] for the most holy[ place].

And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.And the oracle in the forepart[ was] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and[ so] covered the altar[ which was of] cedar.So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.

And for the entering of the oracle he made doors[ of] olive tree: the lintel[ and] side posts[ were] a fifth part[ of the wall].

Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy[ place, even] under the wings of the cherubims:

And they drew out the staves[ of the ark], that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.

Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,

And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy[ place] within the vail before the mercy seat, which[ is] upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

Because their office[ was] to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;

Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the LORD; and they prepared[ them],

And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that[ was] upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

After he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of[ every] side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.And the side chambers[ were] three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which[ was] of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.And[ there was] an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house[ was still] upward, and so increased[ from] the lowest[ chamber] to the highest by the midst.I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers[ were] a full reed of six great cubits.The thickness of the wall, which[ was] for the side chamber without,[ was] five cubits: and[ that] which[ was] left[ was] the place of the side chambers that[ were] within.And between the chambers[ was] the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.And the doors of the side chambers[ were] toward[ the place that was] left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left[ was] five cubits round about.

Over against the twenty[ cubits] which[ were] for the inner court, and over against the pavement which[ was] for the utter court,[ was] gallery against gallery in three[ stories].And before the chambers[ was] a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.Now the upper chambers[ were] shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.For they[ were] in three[ stories], but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore[ the building] was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.And the wall that[ was] without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof[ was] fifty cubits.For the length of the chambers that[ were] in the utter court[ was] fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple[ were] an hundred cubits.And from under these chambers[ was] the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.The chambers[ were] in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.And the way before them[ was] like the appearance of the chambers which[ were] toward the north, as long as they,[ and] as broad as they: and all their goings out[ were] both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.And according to the doors of the chambers that[ were] toward the south[ was] a door in the head of the way,[ even] the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which[ was] by the chamber of the princes, which[ was] above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

And without the inner gate[ were] the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which[ was] at the side of the north gate; and their prospect[ was] toward the south: one at the side of the east gate[ having] the prospect toward the north.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which[ are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all[ things] which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

And[ that] we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.

For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in[ their] set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.

And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded[ to be given] to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests.But in all this[ time] was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave of the king:And I came to Jerusalem, and understood of the evil that Eliashib did for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth all the household stuff of Tobiah out of the chamber.Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat offering and the frankincense.
