He also built a structure against the wall of the house, running around the walls of the house, both the nave and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

Against the walls of the main hall and inner sanctuary he built a structure around the building, in which there were side rooms.

He built side rooms around the temple. They were built against the walls of the main hall and the Most Holy Room.

He built a complex of rooms against the outer walls of the Temple, all the way around the sides and rear of the building.

He then built a chambered structure along the temple wall, encircling the walls of the temple, that is, the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

Against the wall of the house he built stories encompassing the walls of the house around both the main room and the inner sanctuary; so he made side chambers all around.

Against the wall of the temple he built chambers all around, against the walls of the temple, all around the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. Thus he made side chambers all around it.

And against the wall of the house he built stories round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle; and he made side- chambers round about.

He built an extension all around the walls of the temple’s main hall and holy place and constructed side rooms in it.

Against the wall of the house, he built floors all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the inner sanctuary; and he made side rooms all around.

He built twenty cubits of the rear of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls, and he built this within as an inner sanctuary, as the Most Holy Place.

The inner sanctuary he prepared in the innermost part of the house, to set there the ark of the covenant of the Lord.The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high, and he overlaid it with pure gold. He also overlaid an altar of cedar.And Solomon overlaid the inside of the house with pure gold, and he drew chains of gold across, in front of the inner sanctuary, and overlaid it with gold.

For the entrance to the inner sanctuary he made doors of olivewood; the lintel and the doorposts were five-sided.

Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary.

the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed;

Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, in the inner sanctuary of the house, in the Most Holy Place, underneath the wings of the cherubim.

And the poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the Holy Place before the inner sanctuary, but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.

Draw me after you; let us run. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will exult and rejoice in you; we will extol your love more than wine; rightly do they love you.

Then David gave Solomon his son the plan of the vestibule of the temple, and of its houses, its treasuries, its upper rooms, and its inner chambers, and of the room for the mercy seat;

The free space between the side chambers of the temple and theother chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits all around the temple on every side.And the doors of the side chambers opened on the free space, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south. And the breadth of the free space was five cubits all around.

Facing the twenty cubits that belonged to the inner court, and facing the pavement that belonged to the outer court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.And before the chambers was a passage inward, ten cubits wide and a hundred cubits long, and their doors were on the north.Now the upper chambers were narrower, for the galleries took more away from them than from the lower and middle chambers of the building.For they were in three stories, and they had no pillars like the pillars of the courts. Thus the upper chambers were set back from the ground more than the lower and the middle ones.And there was a wall outside parallel to the chambers, toward the outer court, opposite the chambers, fifty cubits long.For the chambers on the outer court were fifty cubits long, while those opposite the nave were a hundred cubits long.Below these chambers was an entrance on the east side, as one enters them from the outer court.In the thickness of the wall of the court, on the south also, opposite the yard and opposite the building, there were chamberswith a passage in front of them. They were similar to the chambers on the north, of the same length and breadth, with the same exits and arrangements and doors,as were the entrances of the chambers on the south. There was an entrance at the beginning of the passage, the passage before the corresponding wall on the east as one enters them.

I brought them to the house of the Lord into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was near the chamber of the officials, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, keeper of the threshold.

On that day men were appointed over the storerooms, the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the Law for the priests and for the Levites according to the fields of the towns, for Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who ministered.

On the outside of the inner gateway there were two chambers in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate facing south, the other at the side of the south gate facing north.

There I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel.

and to bring the first of our dough, and our contributions, the fruit of every tree, the wine and the oil, to the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and to bring to the Levites the tithes from our ground, for it is the Levites who collect the tithes in all our towns where we labor.

for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted to be over the chambers and the treasures of the house of God.

prepared for Tobiah a large chamber where they had previously put the grain offering, the frankincense, the vessels, and the tithes of grain, wine, and oil, which were given by commandment to the Levites, singers, and gatekeepers, and the contributions for the priests.While this was taking place, I was not in Jerusalem, for in the thirty-second year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon I went to the king. And after some time I asked leave of the kingand came to Jerusalem, and I then discovered the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, preparing for him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.And I was very angry, and I threw all the household furniture of Tobiah out of the chamber.Then I gave orders, and they cleansed the chambers, and I brought back there the vessels of the house of God, with the grain offering and the frankincense.
