前後之殿、其四周附墻作臺、以建複樓、

附殿墻、前殿後殿四周、旁建樓房、

Against the walls of the main hall and inner sanctuary he built a structure around the building, in which there were side rooms.

He built side rooms around the temple. They were built against the walls of the main hall and the Most Holy Room.

He also built a structure against the wall of the house, running around the walls of the house, both the nave and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

He built a complex of rooms against the outer walls of the Temple, all the way around the sides and rear of the building.

He then built a chambered structure along the temple wall, encircling the walls of the temple, that is, the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

Against the wall of the house he built stories encompassing the walls of the house around both the main room and the inner sanctuary; so he made side chambers all around.

Against the wall of the temple he built chambers all around, against the walls of the temple, all around the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. Thus he made side chambers all around it.

He then built a chambered structure along the temple wall, encircling the walls of the temple, that is, the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. And he made side chambers all around.

And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about,[ against] the walls of the house round about,[ both] of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:

He built an extension all around the walls of the temple’s main hall and holy place and constructed side rooms in it.

Against the wall of the house, he built floors all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the inner sanctuary; and he made side rooms all around.

And he built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor unto the walls of the ceiling: he built them for it within, for an oracle, even for the most holy place.

And he prepared an oracle in the midst of the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of Jehovah.And within the oracle was a space of twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof; and he overlaid it with pure gold: and he covered the altar with cedar.So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he drew chains of gold across before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.

And for the entrance of the oracle he made doors of olive- wood: the lintel and door- posts were a fifth part of the wall.

Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

and the candlesticks with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the oracle, of pure gold;

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah unto its place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.

And the staves were so long that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without: and there it is unto this day.

Draw me; we will run after thee: The king hath brought me into his chambers; We will be glad and rejoice in thee; We will make mention of thy love more than of wine: Rightly do they love thee.

Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch of the temple, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper rooms thereof, and of the inner chambers thereof, and of the place of the mercy- seat;

Over against the twenty cubits which belonged to the inner court, and over against the pavement which belonged to the outer court, was gallery against gallery in the third story.And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits’ breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors were toward the north.Now the upper chambers were shorter; for the galleries took away from these, more than from the lower and the middlemost, in the building.For they were in three stories, and they had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the uppermost was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.And the wall that was without by the side of the chambers, toward the outer court before the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.For the length of the chambers that were in the outer court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were a hundred cubits.And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the outer court.In the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, before the separate place, and before the building, there were chambers.And the way before them was like the appearance of the way of the chambers which were toward the north; according to their length so was their breadth: and all their egresses were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door at the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

and I brought them into the house of Jehovah, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.

And on that day were men appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave- offerings, for the first- fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, according to the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

And without the inner gate were chambers for the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south; one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy- seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

and that we should bring the first- fruits of our dough, and our heave- offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, the new wine and the oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.

for the four chief porters, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.

had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meal- offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the grain, the new wine, and the oil, which were given by commandment to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the heave- offerings for the priests.But in all this time I was not at Jerusalem; for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon I went unto the king: and after certain days asked I leave of the king,and I came to Jerusalem, and understood the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth all the household stuff of Tobiah out of the chamber.Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meal- offerings and the frankincense.
