“ As for this temple you are building, if you follow my decrees, observe my laws and keep all my commands and obey them, I will fulfill through you the promise I gave to David your father.

“ You are now building this temple. Follow my orders. Keep my rules. Obey all my commands. Then I will make the promise I gave your father David come true. I will do it through you.

“ Concerning this house that you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and obey my rules and keep all my commandments and walk in them, then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.

“ Concerning this Temple you are building, if you keep all my decrees and regulations and obey all my commands, I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father, David.

“ As for this temple you are building— if you walk in my statutes, observe my ordinances, and keep all my commands by walking in them, I will fulfill my promise to you, which I made to your father David.

“ As for this house which you are building, if you will walk in My statutes and execute My ordinances and keep all My commandments by walking in them, then I will fulfill My word with you which I spoke to David your father.

“ Concerning this temple which you are building, if you walk in My statutes, execute My judgments, keep all My commandments, and walk in them, then I will perform My word with you, which I spoke to your father David.

Concerning this house which thou art building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute mine ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I establish my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father.

“ As for this temple you are building— if you walk in My statutes, observe My ordinances, and keep all My commands by walking in them, I will fulfill My promise to you, which I made to your father David.

[ Concerning] this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:

“ As for this temple you are building, if you follow my rules, observe my regulations, and obey all my commandments, I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father David.

“ Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.

我儿啊，现在愿耶和华与你同在，使你亨通，照着他应许你，建造耶和华你的神的殿宇。

耶和华对他说：“你在我面前所作的祷告和恳求，我都已经听见了。你建造的这殿，我已经把它分别为圣，要使我的名永远留在那里；我的眼和我的心也必常在那里。至于你，如果你像你父亲大卫那样，存诚实和正直的心在我面前行事为人，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，谨守我的律例和典章，我就必坚固你统治以色列的国位，直到永远，正如我应许你父亲大卫说：‘你的子孙，总不断有人坐以色列的王位。你们或是你们的子孙，若是转去不跟从我，不遵守我赐给你们的诫命和律例，去事奉别的神，敬拜他们，

如果你的子孙谨守我的约，和我教训他们的法度，他们的子孙也必永远坐在你的王位上。”

如果你遵行了我的道，谨守我的律例、诫命，正如你父亲大卫所行的，我就必延长你的寿数。”

到了你的寿数满足，你与你的列祖一起长眠的时候，我必兴起你亲生的后裔接替你，并且我要坚固他的国。他必为我的名建造一座殿宇，我要永远坚固他的国位。我要作他的父亲，他要作我的儿子，他若是犯了罪，我要用人的刑杖、用世人的鞭子纠正他。但我的慈爱必不离开他，像离开在你面前的扫罗一样。你的家和你的王国，也必在我(按照《马索拉文本》，「我」作「你」；现参照其他抄本及古译本翻译)的面前永远坚定，你的王位也必永远坚立。’”

只是你们要常存信心，根基稳固，不受动摇偏离福音的盼望。这福音你们听过了，也传给了天下万民；我保罗也作了这福音的仆役。

“万军之耶和华这样说：‘你若遵行我的道，谨守我的吩咐，你就必治理我的家，看守我的院子，我必赐你特权，可以在这些侍立在我面前的使者中间自由出入。

如果你们敬畏耶和华，事奉他，听从他的话，不违背他的命令，你们和统治你们的王就必跟从耶和华你们的神。但是，如果你们不听从耶和华的话，违背他的命令，耶和华的手就必攻击你们，好像攻击你们的列祖一样（“好像攻击你们的列祖一样”直译是“和攻击你们的列祖”；《七十士译本》作“和攻击你们的王”）。

耶和华以色列的神啊，现在求你谨守你应许你仆人我父亲大卫的话：‘只要你的子孙谨守他们的行为，像你在我面前所行的一样，就必不断有人坐以色列的王位。’

至于你，你若是在我面前行事为人像你的父亲大卫所行的那样，遵行我吩咐你的一切话，谨守我的律例和典章，我就必巩固你的国位，好像我和你父亲大卫所立的约说：‘你的子孙必不会断人作君王统治以色列。’

“至于你，我儿所罗门哪，你要认识耶和华你父亲的神，一心乐意事奉他，因为耶和华鉴察万人的心，知道人的一切心思意念。你若是寻求他，就必寻见；你若是离弃他，他必永远丢弃你。

谨守耶和华你神所吩咐的，遵行他的道，按摩西律法所写的，谨守他的律例、诫命、典章和法度；这样，无论你作什么，无论你往哪里去，都可以亨通。这样，耶和华必坚立他所说有关我的话，说：‘如果你的子孙谨慎自己所行的，一心一意、诚诚实实行在我面前，就不断有人坐以色列的王位了。’
