耶穌回答：“你們拆毀這殿，我三天之內要把它建造起來。”猶太人說：“這殿建了四十六年，你三天之內就能把它建造起來嗎？”但耶穌所說的殿，就是他的身體。

因為他等待那座有根基的城，就是神所設計所建造的。

求你賜給我的兒子所羅門專一的心，謹守你的誡命、法度和律例，作成這一切事，用我所預備的一切來建造殿宇。”

你們不知道你們的身體就是那位住在你們裡面的聖靈的殿嗎？這聖靈是你們從神那裡領受的。你們不是屬於自己的，

以色列人出埃及地以後，第二年二月一日，耶和華在西奈的曠野，在會幕裡對摩西說：

遠方的人也要來建造耶和華的殿，你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我到你們這裡來。你們若留心聽從耶和華你們神的話，這事必定成就。

按著你們所領受的教導，在他裡面扎根、建造，信心堅定，滿有感謝的心。

但基督已經來了，作了已經實現的美好事物的大祭司；他經過更大、更完備的會幕（不是人手所做的，也就是不屬於這被造的世界的）。

神的殿和偶像怎能協調呢？我們就是永生神的殿，正如神說：“我要住在他們中間，在他們中間來往；我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。”
