告诉他说：‘万军之耶和华这样说：看哪！有一个人名叫大卫的苗裔，他必从自己的地方生长起来，并要建造耶和华的殿。他必建造耶和华的殿，必得尊荣；他必坐在宝座上执掌王权，又必在他的宝座上作祭司，使两者之间和谐共济。’”

耶稣回答：“你们拆毁这殿，我三天之内要把它建造起来。”犹太人说：“这殿建了四十六年，你三天之内就能把它建造起来吗？”但耶稣所说的殿，就是他的身体。

因为他等待那座有根基的城，就是神所设计所建造的。

求你赐给我的儿子所罗门专一的心，谨守你的诫命、法度和律例，作成这一切事，用我所预备的一切来建造殿宇。”

你们不知道你们的身体就是那位住在你们里面的圣灵的殿吗？这圣灵是你们从神那里领受的。你们不是属于自己的，

以色列人出埃及地以后，第二年二月一日，耶和华在西奈的旷野，在会幕里对摩西说：

以色列人住在希实本和属希实本的村镇，亚罗珥和亚罗珥的村镇，以及亚嫩河沿岸的一切城市，已经有三百年了；在这时期内，你们为什么没有夺回这些地方呢？

并且建造在使徒和先知的根基上，基督耶稣自己就是奠基石，整座建筑都靠着他连接配合，渐渐增长成为在主里面的圣所。你们在他里面也一同被建造，成为神藉着圣灵居住的所在。

远方的人也要来建造耶和华的殿，你们就知道万军之耶和华差遣了我到你们这里来。你们若留心听从耶和华你们神的话，这事必定成就。

按着你们所领受的教导，在他里面扎根、建造，信心坚定，满有感谢的心。

但基督已经来了，作了已经实现的美好事物的大祭司；他经过更大、更完备的会幕（不是人手所做的，也就是不属于这被造的世界的）。

神的殿和偶像怎能协调呢？我们就是永生神的殿，正如神说：“我要住在他们中间，在他们中间来往；我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。”
