So behold, I intend to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, just as the Lord spoke to David my father, saying,‘ Your son, whom I will put on your throne in your place, he will build the house for My name.’

我定意要为耶和华我神的名建殿，是照耶和华应许我父亲大卫的话说：‘我必使你儿子接续你坐你的位，他必为我的名建殿。’

我心裏就說要為永恆主我的上帝的名建殿，照永恆主對我父親大衛所說過的話，說：「你那兒子、我所要設立來接替你坐你位上的、是他才要為我的名來建殿。」

我決志為我上帝耶和華之名建室、應耶和華諭我父大衛之言曰、我將使爾子繼爾踐位、彼必為我名建室、

我欲建殿、籲我上帝耶和華名、應耶和華告我父大闢之言、曰、我將使爾子繼位、彼必建殿、以籲我名。

我欲為主我天主之名建殿、應主許我父大衛之言云、我將使爾子繼爾之位、彼必為我名建殿、

I intend, therefore, to build a temple for the Name of the Lord my God, as the Lord told my father David, when he said,‘ Your son whom I will put on the throne in your place will build the temple for my Name.’

So I’m planning to build a temple. I want to build it for the Name of the Lord my God. That’s what he told my father David he wanted me to do. He said,‘ I will put your son on the throne in your place. He will build a temple. I will put my Name there.’

And so I intend to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord said to David my father,‘ Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, shall build the house for my name.’

So I am planning to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord my God, just as he had instructed my father, David. For the Lord told him,‘ Your son, whom I will place on your throne, will build the Temple to honor my name.’

So I plan to build a temple for the name of the LORD my God, according to what the LORD promised my father David:‘ I will put your son on your throne in your place, and he will build the temple for my name.’

And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spoke to my father David, saying,“ Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name.”

And, behold, I purpose to build a house for the name of Jehovah my God, as Jehovah spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build the house for my name.

So I plan to build a temple for the name of Yahweh my God, according to what the Lord promised my father David:‘ I will put your son on your throne in your place, and he will build the temple for My name.’

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.

So I have decided to build a temple to honor the LORD my God, as the LORD instructed my father David,‘ Your son, whom I will put on your throne in your place, is the one who will build a temple to honor me.’

Behold, I intend to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, as Yahweh spoke to David my father, saying,‘ Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place shall build the house for my name.’

He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

He said to me,‘ Your son Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courtyards; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a Father to him.

When your days are finished and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come from you, and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

Then say to him,‘ The Lord of armies says this:“ Behold, there is a Man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the Lord.Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the Lord, and He who will bear the majesty and sit and rule on His throne. So He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices.” ’

Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be courageous and act.”

Now Solomon decided to build a house for the name of the Lord, and a royal palace for himself.So Solomon assigned seventy thousand men to carry loads, eighty thousand men to quarry stone in the mountains, and 3,600 to supervise them.Then Solomon sent word to Huram the king of Tyre, saying,“ As you dealt with my father David and sent him cedars to build him a house to live in, do it for me.Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, dedicating it to Him, to burn fragrant incense before Him and to set out the showbread continually, and to offer burnt offerings morning and evening, on Sabbaths, on new moons, and on the appointed feasts of the Lord our God. This is to be done in Israel forever.The house which I am about to build will be great, for our God is greater than all the gods.But who is able to build a house for Him, since the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain Him? And who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except to burn incense before Him?Now send me a skilled man to work in gold, silver, brass, iron, and in purple, crimson, and violet fabrics, one who knows how to make engravings, to work with the skilled workers whom I have in Judah and Jerusalem, whom my father David provided.Send me also cedar, juniper, and algum timber from Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut timber of Lebanon; and indeed my servants will work with your servants,
