And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

當日主與亞伯蘭立約曰、我以斯地賜爾後裔、自伊及河至伯拉大河、

自曠野及此利巴嫩、至伯拉大河赫族之全地、至大海日入之所、悉為爾境、

主之聖殿、建在耶路撒冷、於是列王俱將禮物貢獻於主、

我定爾界、由紅海至非利士海、由曠野至大河、我必將斯地之居民、付於爾手、必逐之於爾前、

有匪徒曰、斯人也、何能救我、乃藐視之、不饋禮物、惟掃羅默然、

在昔耶路撒冷有大君王、河西全地、歸其統轄、皆與之入貢輸餉納稅、

所羅門統轄諸國、自大河至非利士地、直至伊及界、王在耶路撒冷、使銀多如石、使柏香木多如平原之桑、人自伊及與列國、為所羅門驅馬群而至、所羅門其餘始終之事、載於先知拿單之書、與示羅人亞希雅預言之書、及先見耶多論尼八子耶羅波安默示之書、所羅門在耶路撒冷為以色列全族之王、歷四十年、所羅門與列祖同寢、葬於父大衛之城、子羅波安繼之為王、

主鞏固約沙法之國、猶大人眾、獻禮物於約沙法、約沙法饒有貨財、極其尊榮、

所羅門轄河西全地、自提弗薩至迦薩、河西列王皆為其所轄、四周之屬國順服、皆享太平、

凡爾足所履之地、必歸於爾、自曠野至利巴嫩、自伯拉河至西海、悉為爾境、

從此海至彼海、自大河直至地極、悉歸其統轄、居於曠野者必跪於其前、其仇敵必伏於塵埃、他施與諸海島之列王、必來朝貢、示巴與西巴之君王、必進獻禮物、列王皆叩拜之、列國均服事之、

爾曹當向主爾之天主許願償願、周圍之人、皆當向可畏之主、供獻禮物、

亞述王撒縵以色來攻何西阿、何西阿臣服之而納貢焉、

眾人至耶路撒冷獻禮物於主、以寶物餽猶大王希西家、自此以後、希西家在列邦目中為尊大、○
