孰能聽訟於斯眾之間乎、故祈爾使僕聰慧、可辨是非、為民折中。

主之民眾多、孰能判斷其間乎、求主以智慧賜僕、能辨是非、為民折中、

So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

So give me a heart that understands. Then I can rule over your people. I can tell the difference between what is right and what is wrong. Who can possibly rule over this great nation of yours?”

Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?”

Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”

So give your servant a receptive heart to judge your people and to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of yours?”

So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil. For who is capable of judging this great people of Yours?”

Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”

Give thy servant therefore an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this thy great people?

So give your servant a discerning mind so he can make judicial decisions for your people and distinguish right from wrong. Otherwise no one is able to make judicial decisions for this great nation of yours.”

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him.

But solid food is for the mature— for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil.

Your servant thought: May the word of my lord the king bring relief, for my lord the king is able to discern the good and the bad like the Angel of God. May the Lord your God be with you.”

furthermore, if you call out to insight and lift your voice to understanding,if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.He stores up success for the upright; He is a shield for those who live with integrityso that He may guard the paths of justice and protect the way of His loyal followers.Then you will understand righteousness, justice, and integrity— every good path.

“ I can do nothing on My own. I judge only as I hear, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

God, give Your justice to the king and Your righteousness to the king’s son.He will judge Your people with righteousness and Your afflicted ones with justice.

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him— a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and strength, a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.His delight will be in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what He sees with His eyes, He will not execute justice by what He hears with His ears,but He will judge the poor righteously and execute justice for the oppressed of the land. He will strike the land with discipline from His mouth, and He will kill the wicked with a command from His lips.

Get wisdom— how much better it is than gold! And get understanding— it is preferable to silver.

Above all, may the Lord give you insight and understanding when He puts you in charge of Israel so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.

It is not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.

Now grant me wisdom and knowledge so that I may lead these people, for who can judge this great people of Yours?”

Help me understand Your instruction, and I will obey it and follow it with all my heart.

Your decrees are righteous forever. Give me understanding, and I will live.

So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

But Moses replied to the Lord,“ Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent— either in the past or recently or since You have been speaking to Your servant— because I am slow and hesitant in speech.”Yahweh said to him,“ Who made the human mouth? Who makes him mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh?Now go! I will help you speak and I will teach you what to say.”Moses said,“ Please, Lord, send someone else.”

The hearing ear and the seeing eye— the Lord made them both.

The sensible man’s wisdom is to consider his way, but the stupidity of fools deceives them.

Now a poor wise man was found in the city, and he delivered the city by his wisdom. Yet no one remembered that poor man.And I said,“ Wisdom is better than strength, but the wisdom of the poor man is despised, and his words are not heeded.”The calm words of the wise are heeded more than the shouts of a ruler over fools.Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner can destroy much good.

But I protested,“ Oh no, Lord, God! Look, I don’t know how to speak since I am only a youth.”

Happy is a man who finds wisdom and who acquires understanding,for she is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold.She is more precious than jewels; nothing you desire compares with her.Long life is in her right hand; in her left, riches and honor.Her ways are pleasant, and all her paths, peaceful.She is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy.

Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding so that I can learn Your commands.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy.

But Moses asked God,“ Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”He answered,“ I will certainly be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this mountain.”

Wisdom is as good as an inheritance and an advantage to those who see the sun,

But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone.

But John tried to stop Him, saying,“ I need to be baptized by You, and yet You come to me?”

All Israel heard about the judgment the king had given, and they stood in awe of the king because they saw that God’s wisdom was in him to carry out justice.

“ I baptize you with water for repentance, but the One who is coming after me is more powerful than I. I am not worthy to remove His sandals. He Himself will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. And who is competent for this?

Give my son Solomon a whole heart to keep and to carry out all Your commands, Your decrees, and Your statutes, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.

so that you can approve the things that are superior and can be pure and blameless in the day of Christ,

Wisdom makes the wise man stronger than ten rulers of a city.
