In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream at night; and God said,“ Ask what you wish Me to give you.”

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said,“ Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

The Lord appeared to Solomon at Gibeon. He spoke to him in a dream during the night. God said,“ Ask for anything you want me to give you.”

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and God said,“ Ask what I shall give you.”

That night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said,“ What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!”

At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream at night. God said,“ Ask. What should I give you?”

that the Lord appeared to Solomon a second time, as He had appeared to him at Gibeon.

In that night God appeared to Solomon and said to him,“ Ask what I shall give you.”And Solomon said to God,“ You have dealt with my father David with great faithfulness, and have made me king in his place.Now, Lord God, Your promise to my father David is fulfilled, for You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth.Now give me wisdom and knowledge, so that I may go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this great people of Yours?”Then God said to Solomon,“ Because this was in your heart, and you did not ask for riches, wealth, or honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor did you even ask for long life, but you asked for yourself wisdom and knowledge so that you may rule My people over whom I have made you king,wisdom and knowledge have been granted to you. I will also give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings who were before you has possessed, nor will those who will come after you.”

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.

And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

Now the Lord was angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,

He said,“ Now hear My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, will make Myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.

Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord* appeared to Joseph in a dream and said,“ Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”

And He said to them,“ What do you want Me to do for you?”

But Jesus said to them,“ You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?”They said to Him,“ We are able.” And Jesus said to them,“ The cup that I drink you shall drink; and you shall be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized.But to sit on My right or on My left is not Mine to give; but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.”Hearing this, the other ten began to feel indignant with James and John.Calling them to Himself, Jesus* said to them,“ You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles domineer over them; and their people in high position exercise authority over them.But it is not this way among you; rather, whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant;and whoever wants to be first among you shall be slave of all.For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”Then they* came to Jericho. And later, as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a beggar who was blind named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road.And when he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say,“ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more,“ Son of David, have mercy on me!”And Jesus stopped and said,“ Call him here.” So they* called the man who was blind, saying to him,“ Take courage, stand up! He is calling for you.”And throwing off his cloak, he jumped up and came to Jesus.And replying to him, Jesus said,“ What do you want Me to do for you?” And the man who was blind said to Him,“ Rabboni, I want to regain my sight!”

But when he had thought this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,“ Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord* appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said,

And he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.Then behold, the Lord was standing above it and said,“ I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your descendants.

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Indeed God speaks once, Or twice, yet no one notices it.In a dream, a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls on people, While they slumber in their beds,

Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
