I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.

I will give it to you. I will give you a wise and understanding heart. So here is what will be true of you. There has never been anyone like you. And there never will be.

behold, I now do according to your word. Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you.

I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have!

I will therefore do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has never been anyone like you before and never will be again.

我心裏議論說：我得了大智慧，勝過我以前在耶路撒冷的眾人，而且我心中多經歷智慧和知識的事。

耶和華照着所應許的賜智慧給所羅門。希蘭與所羅門和好，彼此立約。

所羅門王的財寶與智慧勝過天下的列王。普天下的王都求見所羅門，要聽神賜給他智慧的話。

以色列眾人聽見王這樣判斷，就都敬畏他；因為見他心裏有神的智慧，能以斷案。

況且，我們的軟弱有聖靈幫助；我們本不曉得當怎樣禱告，只是聖靈親自用說不出來的歎息替我們禱告。鑒察人心的，曉得聖靈的意思，因為聖靈照着神的旨意替聖徒祈求。

所以你要照你的智慧行，不容他白頭安然下陰間。

現在你不要以他為無罪。你是聰明人，必知道怎樣待他，使他白頭見殺，流血下到陰間。」

又說：「創造天地的耶和華－以色列的神是應當稱頌的！他賜給大衛王一個有智慧的兒子，使他有謀略聰明，可以為耶和華建造殿宇，又為自己的國建造宮室。

神賜給所羅門極大的智慧聰明和廣大的心，如同海沙不可測量。所羅門的智慧超過東方人和埃及人的一切智慧。他的智慧勝過萬人，勝過以斯拉人以探，並瑪曷的兒子希幔、甲各、達大的智慧。他的名聲傳揚在四圍的列國。他作箴言三千句，詩歌一千零五首。他講論草木，自黎巴嫩的香柏樹直到牆上長的牛膝草，又講論飛禽走獸、昆蟲水族。天下列王聽見所羅門的智慧，就都差人來聽他的智慧話。

我專心用智慧尋求、查究天下所做的一切事，乃知神叫世人所經練的是極重的勞苦。

所羅門王將她所問的都答上了，沒有一句不明白、不能答的。示巴女王見所羅門大有智慧，和他所建造的宮室，席上的珍饈美味，羣臣分列而坐，僕人兩旁侍立，以及他們的衣服裝飾和酒政的衣服裝飾，又見他上耶和華殿的臺階，就詫異得神不守舍；對王說：「我在本國裏所聽見論到你的事和你的智慧實在是真的！我先不信那些話，及至我來親眼見了才知道人所告訴我的還不到一半。你的智慧和你的福分越過我所聽見的風聲。你的臣子、你的僕人常侍立在你面前聽你智慧的話是有福的！

因為我必賜你們口才、智慧，是你們一切敵人所敵不住、駁不倒的。

他們尚未求告，我就應允；正說話的時候，我就垂聽。

耶和華啊，謙卑人的心願，你早已知道。你必預備他們的心，也必側耳聽他們的祈求，

所積蓄的一切智慧知識，都在他裏面藏着。

神對所羅門說：「我已立你作我民的王。你既有這心意，並不求資財、豐富、尊榮，也不求滅絕那恨你之人的性命，又不求大壽數，只求智慧聰明好判斷我的民；我必賜你智慧聰明，也必賜你資財、豐富、尊榮。在你以前的列王都沒有這樣，在你以後也必沒有這樣的。」

對王說：「我在本國裏所聽見論到你的事和你的智慧實在是真的！我先不信那些話，及至我來親眼見了，才知道你的大智慧；人所告訴我的，還不到一半；你的實跡越過我所聽見的名聲。你的羣臣、你的僕人常侍立在你面前聽你智慧的話是有福的。耶和華－你的神是應當稱頌的！他喜悅你，使你坐他的國位，為耶和華－你的神作王；因為你的神愛以色列人，要永遠堅立他們，所以立你作他們的王，使你秉公行義。」

當審判的時候，南方的女王要起來定這世代的罪；因為她從地極而來，要聽所羅門的智慧話。看哪，在這裏有一人比所羅門更大！」
