He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, because he followed the ways of his father and mother and of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.

Ahaziah did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He lived the way his father and mother had lived. He lived the way Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, had lived. Jeroboam had caused Israel to sin.

拿答行耶和華所惡、循父之道、干父陷以色列人之罪、

從未有若亞哈自鬻、行耶和華所惡者、為其后耶洗別所慫恿也、

亞哈謝循亞哈家之道、行耶和華所惡、如亞哈家所為、因其為亞哈家之壻也、

亞哈謝在撒瑪利亞、墜樓櫺致疾、乃遣使曰、往詢以革倫神巴力西卜、我病得愈否、耶和華之使者諭提斯比人以利亞曰、起迎撒瑪利亞王之使、謂之曰、以色列中豈無上帝、乃往詢以革倫神巴力西卜乎、故耶和華云、爾所登之牀、不得再下、必死矣、以利亞遂往、使者返、王曰、爾返何為、曰、有人迎而告我曰、返見遣爾之王曰、耶和華云、以色列中豈無上帝、乃遣人詢以革倫神巴力西卜乎、故爾所登之牀、不得再下、必死矣、曰、迎爾而告以斯言者、其人形狀如何、

亞哈謝循亞哈家之道、蓋其母主謀、使之行惡、

我立於門而叩、有聞我聲而啟者、我必入就之、偕彼而餐、彼亦偕我焉、

乃行惡較前人尤甚、立他神、鑄偶像、激我之怒、棄而背我、故我必降災於耶羅波安家、彼之丁男、無論被束者、自由者、悉絕之於以色列中、掃除耶羅波安全家、猶人掃除糞壤、以至淨盡、凡屬耶羅波安、死於邑者、犬必食之、死於野者、鳥必食之、耶和華言之矣、爾起旋歸、足入城時、子必死焉、以色列眾將為哀悼而葬之、屬耶羅波安者、惟此子得入於墓、蓋在耶羅波安家中、彼向以色列之上帝耶和華、顯有善行、耶和華必興一人、為以色列王、將絕耶羅波安家於彼日、何云彼日、即今是也、耶和華必擊以色列、若葦搖於水中、拔之出於所錫列祖之美地、散之河外、因其作木偶、激耶和華之怒也、緣耶羅波安所犯之罪、使以色列人陷之、耶和華必棄以色列族、

行耶和華所惡、循耶羅波安之道、干其陷以色列人之罪、

惟從尼八子耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、不離棄之、○

約蘭見耶戶、則曰、耶戶歟、安否、曰、爾母耶洗別、淫行巫術若是之多、焉得安乎、

女退、謂母曰、我當何求、曰、施洗約翰之首、

行耶和華所惡、較前王尤甚、循尼八子耶羅波安之道、以為細事、乃娶西頓王謁巴力女耶洗別為后、從而服事崇拜巴力、在撒瑪利亞建巴力廟、為之築壇於廟中、亦作木偶、亞哈所行、激以色列上帝耶和華之怒、較以色列前王尤甚、

王既籌思、乃作金犢二、告民曰、爾曹上耶路撒冷甚難、以色列人歟、導爾出埃及之神即此、遂置一犢於伯特利、一犢於但、此事陷人於罪、因民往但、崇拜其一、王於崇邱建廟、由眾民中、不屬利未族者、簡立祭司、又設節期於八月之望、若猶大之節期、而登其壇、在伯特利亦如是、獻祭於所作之犢、以所立為邱壇之祭司、置於伯特利、八月之望、即以己意所定之期、詣伯特利所作之壇、為以色列族設筵、登壇焚香、
