The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ I will disguise myself and then enter into the battle; but you wear your royal robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself and then entered into the battle.

以色列王告約沙法曰、我將微服入陳、惟爾衣王服。以色列王遂改服色、入陳戰鬥。

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ I will enter the battle in disguise, but you wear your royal robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.

The king of Israel spoke to Jehoshaphat. He said,“ I’ll go into battle wearing different clothes. Then people won’t recognize me. But you wear your royal robes.” So the king of Israel put on different clothes. Then he went into battle.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your robes.” And the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ As we go into battle, I will disguise myself so no one will recognize me, but you wear your royal robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself, and they went into battle.

But the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your royal attire.” So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ I will disguise myself and go into the battle, but you put on your robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into the battle.

But Josiah did not turn back from him; he disguised himself for battle. He did not take seriously the words of Necho which he had received from God; he went to fight him in the Plain of Megiddo.

“ Do you really think anyone can hide himself where I cannot see him?” the LORD asks.“ Do you not know that I am everywhere?” the LORD asks.

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ I will disguise myself and then enter the battle; but you wear your royal attire.” So the king of Israel disguised himself and they entered the battle.

There is no wisdom and there is no understanding, and there is no counsel against the LORD.

So Joab sent to Tekoa and brought from there a wise woman. He told her,“ Pretend to be in mourning and put on garments for mourning. Don’t anoint yourself with oil. Instead, act like a woman who has been mourning for the dead for some time.

The prophet then went and stood by the road, waiting for the king. He also disguised himself by putting a bandage down over his eyes.

So Saul disguised himself and put on other clothing and left, accompanied by two of his men. They came to the woman at night and said,“ Use your ritual pit to conjure up for me the one I tell you.”

People lie to one another; they flatter and deceive.

Jeroboam told his wife,“ Disguise yourself so that people cannot recognize you are Jeroboam’s wife. Then go to Shiloh; Ahijah the prophet, who told me I would rule over this nation, lives there.

Now the king of Israel and King Jehoshaphat of Judah were sitting on their respective thrones, dressed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria. All the prophets were prophesying before them.
