Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah went up and slapped Micaiah in the face.“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go when he went from me to speak to you?” he asked.

Then Zedekiah, the son of Kenaanah, went up and slapped Micaiah in the face. Zedekiah asked Micaiah,“ Do you think the spirit sent by the Lord left me? Do you think that spirit went to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said,“ How did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah walked up to Micaiah and slapped him across the face.“ Since when did the Spirit of the Lord leave me to speak to you?” he demanded.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah on the cheek, and demanded,“ Did the Spirit of the LORD leave me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah approached and struck Micaiah on the cheek; and he said,“ How did the Spirit of the Lord pass from me to speak to you?”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of Jehovah from me to speak unto thee?

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah in the face, and demanded,“ Did the Spirit of the Lord leave me to speak to you?”

But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

Zedekiah son of Kenaanah approached, hit Micaiah on the jaw, and said,“ Which way did the LORD’s spirit go when he went from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did Yahweh’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”

有幾個人開始向他吐唾沫，蒙着他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：『你說豫言吧！』差役用耳刮子把他拉過去。

主永恆主開啓我的耳朵，我並沒有違背，也沒有退後。我將我的背脊給擊打的人擊打，將我的腮頰給拔鬍鬚的人扯拔，我並沒有掩面以躲避羞辱，而免被吐唾沬。

基拿拿的兒子西底家造了幾個鐵角、說：『永恆主這樣說：「你要用這些角去牴觸亞蘭人，直到將他們滅盡。」』

又用一根葦子擊打他的頭，向他吐唾沫，跪下拜他。戲弄完了，就給他脫了紫色褂子，給他穿上他自己的衣裳；帶他出去，要給釘十字架。

『別人他救了；自己呢、他不能救！他是以色列王；如今讓他從十字架上下來吧！我們就信他。他倚靠上帝；上帝若要他，讓上帝如今援救他吧！因為他曾經說：「我是上帝的兒子。」』

『世界若恨你們，你們該知道在恨你們以先、它已經恨了我了。

你們要記得我對你們說過的話：「僕人不比主人大」。他們若逼迫了我，也必逼迫你們；若遵守了我的話，也必遵守你們的話。

說：『基督啊，對我們說豫言吧！打你的是誰？』

但是我告訴你們，不可報復惡行為。無論誰在你的右邊嘴巴上給你一個耳刮子，你連左邊也要轉過來給他打。

「永恆主已經立了你西番雅為祭司來代替祭司耶何耶大，使你做永恆主殿中的監督，好將一切瘋狂的、發神言狂的人用枷枷住，用脖子鎖鎖住。現在呢、亞拿突人耶利米自專地向你們發神言，你們為甚麼沒有責備他呢？

於是神言人哈拿尼雅將神言人耶利米脖子上的軛取下來，給折斷了。哈拿尼雅又當着眾民面前說：『永恆主這麼說：兩年以內、我也必這樣從列國人的脖子上折斷巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的軛。』但神言人耶利米卻逕自走他的路而去。
