Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah went up and slapped Micaiah in the face.“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go when he went from me to speak to you?” he asked.

Then Zedekiah, the son of Kenaanah, went up and slapped Micaiah in the face. Zedekiah asked Micaiah,“ Do you think the spirit sent by the Lord left me? Do you think that spirit went to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said,“ How did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah walked up to Micaiah and slapped him across the face.“ Since when did the Spirit of the Lord leave me to speak to you?” he demanded.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah on the cheek, and demanded,“ Did the Spirit of the LORD leave me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah approached and struck Micaiah on the cheek; and he said,“ How did the Spirit of the Lord pass from me to speak to you?”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of Jehovah from me to speak unto thee?

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah in the face, and demanded,“ Did the Spirit of the Lord leave me to speak to you?”

Zedekiah son of Kenaanah approached, hit Micaiah on the jaw, and said,“ Which way did the LORD’s spirit go when he went from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did Yahweh’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”

And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.

Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

He giveth[ his] cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see on that day when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.

And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.

And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing[ their] knees worshipped him.And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.

He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before[ it hated] you.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man[ that is] mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stocks.Now therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you?

Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it.And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
