耶和华问他用什么方法，他说，‘我要做谎言之灵，进入他众先知的口中。’耶和华说，‘你必能成功，就这样做吧。’

耶和华问他说：‘你用何法呢？’他说：‘我去，要在他众先知口中作谎言的灵。’耶和华说：‘这样，你必能引诱他，你去如此行吧！’

耶和华问他：‘用什么方法呢？’他说：‘我要出去，在他众先知的口中成为谎言的灵。’耶和华说：‘这样，你去引诱他，必能成功。你出去，照样做吧！’

他回答：‘我要出去，在亚哈所有先知的口中，作说谎的灵。’耶和华说：‘你可以去引诱他，你也必能成功，你去这样行吧！’

他回答：‘我要出去，在亞哈所有先知的口中，作說謊的靈。’耶和華說：‘你可以去引誘他，你也必能成功，你去這樣行吧！’

他說：「我要出去，在他的眾神言人口中做個虛假之靈。」永恆主說：「這樣你就能夠引誘，並且能成功；你出去這樣行吧。」

曰、何以誘之、曰、我將出為誑言之神、在其眾先知之口、曰、爾往為之、必成其事、

曰誘之若何。曰、我將感其先知、胥動以浮言。曰、往哉、行此、爾必誘之、以成爾志。

曰、我往感其眾先知、使俱妄言、主曰、如是、爾必能誘之、往哉、可循所言而行、

“‘ By what means?’ the Lord asked.“‘ I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said.“‘ You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord.‘ Go and do it.’

“‘ How?’ the Lord asked.“ The spirit said,‘ I’ll go out and put lies in the mouths of all his prophets.’“‘ You will have success in getting Ahab to attack Ramoth Gilead,’ said the Lord.‘ Go and do it.’

And the Lord said to him,‘ By what means?’ And he said,‘ I will go out, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said,‘ You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’

“‘ How will you do this?’ the Lord asked.“ And the spirit replied,‘ I will go out and inspire all of Ahab’s prophets to speak lies.’“‘ You will succeed,’ said the Lord.‘ Go ahead and do it.’

“ The LORD asked him,‘ How?’“ He said,‘ I will go and become a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’“ Then he said,‘ You will certainly entice him and prevail. Go and do that.’

And the Lord said to him,‘ How?’ And he said,‘ I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ Then He said,‘ You shall entice him, and you will also prevail. Go and do so.’

The Lord said to him,‘ In what way?’ So he said,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And the Lord said,‘ You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’

And Jehovah said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt entice him, and shalt prevail also: go forth, and do so.

“ The Lord asked him,‘ How?’“ He said,‘ I will go and become a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’“ Then He said,‘ You will certainly entice him and prevail. Go and do that.’

And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade[ him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

He replied,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ The LORD said,‘ Deceive and overpower him. Go out and do as you have proposed.’

Yahweh said to him,‘ How?’ He said,‘ I will go out and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ He said,‘ You will entice him, and will also prevail. Go out and do so.’

上帝派遣一个邪灵挑起亚比米勒和示剑人之间的争端，示剑人用诡诈的手段对待亚比米勒。

如果先知受迷惑说预言，那是我耶和华任他胡作非为，我必伸手惩治他，把他从我的以色列百姓中除灭。

它在头一只怪兽面前获准行奇迹，欺骗了普世的人，并吩咐他们为受了刀伤却仍然活着的头一只怪兽塑像。

我又看见三个像青蛙一样的污鬼分别从巨龙、怪兽和假先知的口里跳出来。其实它们都是鬼魔的灵，能行奇迹。它们到普天下召集各王，预备在全能上帝的大日子来临时聚集争战。

撒旦回答说：“人会以皮换皮，为了保全生命，情愿舍弃一切。倘若你伸手伤害他的骨和肉，他必当面亵渎你。”耶和华说：“好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。”

耶和华说，‘谁愿意去引诱亚哈到基列的拉末去送死呢？’众天军议论纷纷。

耶和华的灵离开了扫罗，有个邪灵从耶和华那里来折磨他。

因为上帝使众王定意这样做，好完成祂的旨意。他们便同心将政权交给那怪兽，直到上帝的话得到实现。

第二天，从上帝那里来的邪灵突然降在扫罗身上，他就在屋子里叫闹不停，大卫照常为他弹琴。扫罗当时手上拿着矛，

耶和华问撒旦：“你注意到我的仆人约伯了吗？世上没有人像他那样纯全正直，敬畏我，远离罪恶。”撒旦说：“约伯敬畏你难道无缘无故吗？你岂不是像篱笆一样四面保护他及其全家和一切产业吗？你使他事事蒙福，牛羊遍地。倘若你伸手毁坏他拥有的一切，他必当面亵渎你。”

它和它的天使都一同从天上被摔到地上。巨龙就是那古蛇，又名魔鬼或撒旦，也就是那迷惑全人类的。我听见天上有大响声说：“我们上帝的救赎、权能、国度和祂所立的基督的权柄现在来临了。因为那昼夜不停地在我们上帝面前控告我们弟兄的，已经被摔到地上了。

你们是出于你们的父魔鬼，你们乐意顺着它的私欲行。魔鬼从起初就是个杀人凶手，从不站在真理这一边，因为它心里根本没有真理。撒谎是它的本性，因为它是撒谎者，又是撒谎者的始祖。

圣灵明确地说，日后必有人离弃真道，去追随那些迷惑人的邪灵和鬼魔的学说。

那一千年过后，撒旦会从被监禁的地方得到释放。

一天，扫罗手里拿着矛正坐在家中，从耶和华那里来的邪灵降临在扫罗身上。大卫正在弹琴，

他喜欢咒诅人，愿咒诅临到他；他不喜欢祝福人，愿祝福远离他。

那欺骗他们的魔鬼被扔进了怪兽和假先知所待的硫磺火湖中，在那里昼夜受苦，直到永永远远！

他把它扔进无底坑里关起来，加上封印，使它不能再欺骗各国的人。一千年期满后，它会暂时被释放。

彼得说：“亚拿尼亚，你为什么让撒旦充满你的心，欺骗圣灵，私自留下一些卖地的钱呢？田产没有卖的时候属于你，即使卖了，卖地的钱也由你支配。你怎么做出这种事呢？你不是欺骗人，你是欺骗上帝！”

祂充满力量和智慧。骗子和受骗者都在祂权下。

他来要按照撒旦的伎俩行各样虚假的异能、神迹和奇事，用尽各样诡计欺骗那些将要灭亡的人，因为他们不喜欢接受那能拯救他们的真理。上帝就让他们是非不辨，去相信那些虚假的谎言，使一切不相信真理、反喜爱不义的人都被定罪。
