So the king said to him,“ How many times shall I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

王对他说：“我当嘱咐你几次，你才奉耶和华的名向我说实话呢？”

王对他说：“我要你发誓多少次，你才会奉耶和华的名向我说实话呢？”

王对他说：“我要你发誓多少次，你才会奉耶和华的名向我说实话呢？”

王却说：“我要嘱咐你多少次，你才肯奉耶和华的名对我说实话呢？”

王对他说：“我要嘱咐你多少次，你才奉耶和华的名对我只说真话呢？”

王對他說：「我當囑咐你幾次，你才奉耶和華的名向我說實話呢？」

王對他說：「我要你發誓多少次，你才會奉耶和華的名向我說實話呢？」

王對他說：「我要你發誓多少次，你才會奉耶和華的名向我說實話呢？」

王卻說：「我要囑咐你多少次，你才肯奉耶和華的名對我說實話呢？」

王對他說：“我要囑咐你多少次，你才奉耶和華的名對我只說真話呢？”

王對他說：『我須要誓囑你幾次，你才奉永恆主的名不對我說別的、只說實話呢？』

王曰、我須幾次囑爾、奉耶和華名與我言、惟以誠實乎、

王曰、我豈不屢使爾、奉耶和華命、當以真實告我乎。

王謂之曰、我豈不屢使爾發誓、爾奉主名告我、惟以真實而告乎、

The king said to him,“ How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

The king said to him,“ I’ve made you promise to tell the truth many times before. So don’t tell me anything but the truth in the name of the Lord.”

But the king said to him,“ How many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

But the king replied sharply,“ How many times must I demand that you speak only the truth to me when you speak for the Lord?”

But the king said to him,“ How many times must I make you swear not to tell me anything but the truth in the name of the LORD?”

Then the king said to him,“ How many times must I make you swear that you will tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou speak unto me nothing but the truth in the name of Jehovah?

But the king said to him,“ How many times must I make you swear not to tell me anything but the truth in the name of Yahweh?”

And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but[ that which is] true in the name of the LORD?

The king said to him,“ How many times must I make you solemnly promise in the name of the LORD to tell me only the truth?”

The king said to him,“ How many times do I have to adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in Yahweh’s name?”

that the Lord your God may show us the way in which we should walk and the thing we should do.”Then Jeremiah the prophet said to them,“ I have heard. Indeed, I will pray to the Lord your God according to your words, and it shall be, that whatever the Lord answers you, I will declare it to you. I will keep nothing back from you.”So they said to Jeremiah,“ Let the Lord be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not do according to everything which the Lord your God sends us by you.Whether it is pleasing or displeasing, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God to whom we send you, that it may be well with us when we obey the voice of the Lord our God.”

Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying,“ We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.”

And he cried out with a loud voice and said,“ What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men.Tell us, therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

And the men of Israel were distressed that day, for Saul had placed the people under oath, saying,“ Cursed is the man who eats any food until evening, before I have taken vengeance on my enemies.” So none of the people tasted food.

But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him,“ I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”

Then Joshua charged them at that time, saying,“ Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho; he shall lay its foundation with his firstborn, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates.”

So the king said to him,“ How many times shall I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”
