But Micaiah said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives, I will say what the LORD tells me to say.”

米该雅回答说：“我凭永活的耶和华起誓，耶和华对我说什么，我就说什么。”

米该雅说：“我指着永活的耶和华起誓，耶和华吩咐我什么，我就说什么。”

米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，耶和華對我說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，耶和華向我說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，耶和華向我說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅回答說：「我憑永活的耶和華起誓，耶和華對我說什麼，我就說什麼。」

米該雅說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，耶和華吩咐我甚麼，我就說甚麼。”

米該雅說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，永恆主對我說甚麼，我就說甚麼。』

米該雅曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、耶和華所諭我者、我必言之、

米該亞曰、我指耶和華以誓、必循耶和華命而言。

米該雅曰、我指永生主而誓、主所諭我者、我必言之、

But Micaiah said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what the Lord tells me.”

But Micaiah said,“ You can be sure that the Lord lives. And here is something you can be just as sure of. I can only tell the king what the Lord tells me to say.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, what the Lord says to me, that I will speak.”

But Micaiah replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I will say only what the Lord tells me to say.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the LORD lives, I will say whatever the LORD says to me.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever the Lord says to me, I shall speak it.”

And Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever the Lord says to me, that I will speak.”

And Micaiah said, As Jehovah liveth, what Jehovah saith unto me, that will I speak.

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, I will say whatever the Lord says to me.”

And Micaiah said,[ As] the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.

Micaiah said,“ As Yahweh lives, what Yahweh says to me, that I will speak.”

‘ If Balak would give me his palace full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD to do either good or evil of my own will, but whatever the LORD tells me I must speak’?

Balaam replied to the servants of Balak,“ Even if Balak would give me his palace full of silver and gold, I could not transgress the commandment of the LORD my God to do less or more.

The LORD said,“ Go stand in the courtyard of the LORD’s temple. Speak out to all the people who are coming from the towns of Judah to worship in the LORD’s temple. Tell them everything I command you to tell them. Do not leave out a single word!Maybe they will pay attention and each of them will stop living the evil way they do. If they do that, then I will forgo destroying them as I had intended to do because of the wicked things they have been doing.

But we have rejected shameful hidden deeds, not behaving with deceptiveness or distorting the word of God, but by open proclamation of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience before God.

Balaam said to Balak,“ Look, I have come to you. Now, am I able to speak just anything? I must speak only the word that God puts in my mouth.”

But Elijah said,“ As certainly as the LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL lives( whom I serve), I will make an appearance before him today.”

As certainly as the LORD your God lives, my master has sent to every nation and kingdom in an effort to find you. When they say,‘ He’s not here,’ he makes them swear an oath that they could not find you.

Am I now trying to gain the approval of people, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ!

“ Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you must give them a warning from me.When I say to the wicked,“ You will certainly die,” and you do not warn him– you do not speak out to warn the wicked to turn from his wicked deed and wicked lifestyle so that he may live– that wicked person will die for his iniquity, but I will hold you accountable for his death.But as for you, if you warn the wicked and he does not turn from his wicked deed and from his wicked lifestyle, he will die for his iniquity but you will have saved your own life.

The prophet Jeremiah answered them,“ Agreed! I will indeed pray to the LORD your God as you have asked. I will tell you everything the LORD replies in response to you. I will not keep anything back from you.”

Let the prophet who has had a dream go ahead and tell his dream. Let the person who has received my message report that message faithfully. What is like straw cannot compare to what is like grain! I, the LORD, affirm it!

Now the messenger who went to summon Micaiah said to him,“ Look, the prophets are in complete agreement that the king will succeed. Your words must agree with theirs; you must predict success!”But Micaiah said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives, I will say what my God tells me to say!”

Therefore I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of you all.For I did not hold back from announcing to you the whole purpose of God.

For we are not like so many others, hucksters who peddle the word of God for profit, but we are speaking in Christ before God as persons of sincerity, as persons sent from God.

The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and hard-hearted, and you must say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says.’And as for them, whether they listen or not– for they are a rebellious house– they will know that a prophet has been among them.But you, son of man, do not fear them, and do not fear their words– even though briers and thorns surround you and you live among scorpions– do not fear their words and do not be terrified of the looks they give you, for they are a rebellious house!You must speak my words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.As for you, son of man, listen to what I am saying to you: Do not rebel like that rebellious house! Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”
