But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, I will say whatever the Lord says to me.”

米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，耶和華向我說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，耶和華向我說甚麼，我就說甚麼。」

米該雅回答說：「我憑永活的耶和華起誓，耶和華對我說什麼，我就說什麼。」

米該雅說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，耶和華吩咐我甚麼，我就說甚麼。”

米該雅說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，永恆主對我說甚麼，我就說甚麼。』

But Micaiah said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what the Lord tells me.”

But Micaiah said,“ You can be sure that the Lord lives. And here is something you can be just as sure of. I can only tell the king what the Lord tells me to say.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, what the Lord says to me, that I will speak.”

But Micaiah replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I will say only what the Lord tells me to say.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the LORD lives, I will say whatever the LORD says to me.”

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever the Lord says to me, I shall speak it.”

And Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever the Lord says to me, that I will speak.”

And Micaiah said, As Jehovah liveth, what Jehovah saith unto me, that will I speak.

And Micaiah said,[ As] the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.

But Micaiah said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives, I will say what the LORD tells me to say.”

Micaiah said,“ As Yahweh lives, what Yahweh says to me, that I will speak.”

If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go against the Lord’s command, to do anything good or bad of my own will? I will say whatever the Lord says.

But Balaam responded to the servants of Balak,“ If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go against the command of the Lord my God to do anything small or great.

“ This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard of the Lord’s temple and speak all the words I have commanded you to speak to all Judah’s cities that are coming to worship there. Do not hold back a word.Perhaps they will listen and return— each from his evil way of life— so that I might relent concerning the disaster that I plan to do to them because of the evil of their deeds.

Instead, we have renounced shameful secret things, not walking in deceit or distorting God’s message, but commending ourselves to every person’s conscience in God’s sight by an open display of the truth.

Balaam said to him,“ Look, I have come to you, but can I say anything I want? I must speak only the message God puts in my mouth.”

Then Elijah said,“ As the Lord of Hosts lives, before whom I stand, today I will present myself to Ahab.”

As the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent someone to search for you. When they said,‘ He is not here,’ he made that kingdom or nation swear they had not found you.

For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.

“ Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.If I say to the wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him— you don’t speak out to warn him about his wicked way in order to save his life— that wicked person will die for his iniquity. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.

So Jeremiah the prophet said to them,“ I have heard. I will now pray to the Lord your God according to your words, and every word that the Lord answers you I will tell you; I won’t withhold a word from you.”

The prophet who has only a dream should recount the dream, but the one who has My word should speak My word truthfully, for what is straw compared to grain?”— this is the Lord’s declaration.

The messenger who went to call Micaiah instructed him,“ Look, the words of the prophets are unanimously favorable for the king. So let your words be like theirs, and speak favorably.”But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, I will say whatever my God says.”

Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of everyone’s blood,for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God.

For we are not like the many who market God’s message for profit. On the contrary, we speak with sincerity in Christ, as from God and before God.

The children are obstinate and hardhearted. I am sending you to them, and you must say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says.’Whether they listen or refuse to listen— for they are a rebellious house— they will know that a prophet has been among them.“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words, though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or be discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.But speak My words to them whether they listen or refuse to listen, for they are rebellious.“ And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you: Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”
