Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns and he declared,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.’”

Zedekiah was the son of Kenaanah. Zedekiah had made horns out of iron. They looked like animal horns. He announced,“ The Lord says,‘ With these horns you will drive back the men of Aram until they are destroyed.’ ”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said,“ Thus says the Lord,‘ With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

One of them, Zedekiah son of Kenaanah, made some iron horns and proclaimed,“ This is what the Lord says: With these horns you will gore the Arameans to death!”

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.’”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made horns of iron for himself; and he said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ With these you shall gore the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until they be consumed.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.’”

Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, there were four horns.So I said to the angel who was speaking with me,“ What are these?” And he said to me,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.And I said,“ What are these coming to do?” And he said,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah so that no one lifts up his head; but these craftsmen have come to frighten them, to throw down the horns of the nations who have lifted up their horns against the land of Judah in order to scatter it.”

As the firstborn of his ox, majesty is his, And his horns are the horns of the wild ox; With them he will gore the peoples All at once, to the ends of the earth. And those are the ten thousands of Ephraim, And those are the thousands of Manasseh.”

But also some of the Jewish exorcists, who went from place to place, attempted to use the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had the evil spirits, saying,“ I order you in the name of Jesus whom Paul preaches!”Now there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, doing this.But the evil spirit responded and said to them,“ I recognize Jesus, and I know of Paul, but who are you?”And the man in whom was the evil spirit, pounced on them and subdued all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke it.Hananiah spoke in the sight of all the people, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Even so within two full years I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations.’ ” Then Jeremiah the prophet went his way.Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, saying,“ Go and speak to Hananiah, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ You have broken the yokes of wood, but in their place you have made yokes of iron.”For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. And I have also given him the animals of the field.” ’ ”

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, worthless in regard to the faith.

“ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:‘ I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.Within two years I am going to bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took from this place and brought to Babylon.

They keep saying to those who despise Me,‘ The Lord has said,“ You will have peace” ’; And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, They say,‘ Disaster will not come on you.’

They see deceit and lying divination, those who are saying,‘ The Lord declares,’ when the Lord has not sent them; yet they wait for the fulfillment of their word!Did you not see a false vision and tell a lying divination when you said,‘ The Lord declares,’ but it is not I who have spoken?” ’ ”Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Because you have spoken deceit and have seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you,” declares the Lord God.“ So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, so that you may know that I am the Lord God.

“ I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsely in My name, saying,‘ I had a dream, I had a dream!’

‘ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and concerning Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying to you falsely in My name:“ Behold, I am going to hand them over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will kill them before your eyes.

Her leaders within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to make dishonest profit.And her prophets have coated with whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying,‘ This is what the Lord God says,’ when the Lord has not spoken.

Behold, I am against the prophets,” declares the Lord,“ who use their tongues and declare,‘ The Lord declares!’

Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, saying,“ Is the Lord not in our midst? Catastrophe will not come upon us.”
