Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns and he declared,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.’”

Zedekiah was the son of Kenaanah. Zedekiah had made horns out of iron. They looked like animal horns. He announced,“ The Lord says,‘ With these horns you will drive back the men of Aram until they are destroyed.’ ”

One of them, Zedekiah son of Kenaanah, made some iron horns and proclaimed,“ This is what the Lord says: With these horns you will gore the Arameans to death!”

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.’”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made horns of iron for himself and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed!’ ”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made horns of iron for himself; and he said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ With these you shall gore the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until they be consumed.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.’”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.

Zedekiah son of Kenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ With these you will gore Syria until they are destroyed.’”

And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns!And I said to the angel who talked with me,“ What are these?” And he said to me,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.And I said,“ What are these coming to do?” He said,“ These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one raised his head. And these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it.”

A firstborn bull— he has majesty, and his horns are the horns of a wild ox; with them he shall gore the peoples, all of them, to the ends of the earth; they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.”

Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying,“ I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.”Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this.But the evil spirit answered them,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?”And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke-bars from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke them.And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying,“ Thus says the Lord: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations within two years.” But Jeremiah the prophet went his way.Sometime after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke-bars from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:“ Go, tell Hananiah,‘ Thus says the Lord: You have broken wooden bars, but you have made in their place bars of iron.For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put upon the neck of all these nations an iron yoke to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him, for I have given to him even the beasts of the field.’”

Thus the Lord said to me:“ Make yourself straps and yoke-bars, and put them on your neck.

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.Within two years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon.

They say continually to those who despise the word of the Lord,‘ It shall be well with you’; and to everyone who stubbornly follows his own heart, they say,‘ No disaster shall come upon you.’”

They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say,‘ Declares the Lord,’ when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.Have you not seen a false vision and uttered a lying divination, whenever you have said,‘ Declares the Lord,’ although I have not spoken?”Therefore thus says the Lord God:“ Because you have uttered falsehood and seen lying visions, therefore behold, I am against you, declares the Lord God.My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord God.

I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in my name, saying,‘ I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’

‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying a lie to you in my name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall strike them down before your eyes.

Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain.And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.

Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who use their tongues and declare,‘ declares the Lord.’

Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say,“ Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.”
