告之曰、耶和華云、汝既殺人、又據其業乎、又告之曰、耶和華云、犬於何處舐拿伯之血、亦必於彼舐爾之血、

Say to him,‘ This is what the Lord says: Have you not murdered a man and seized his property?’ Then say to him,‘ This is what the Lord says: In the place where dogs licked up Naboth’s blood, dogs will lick up your blood— yes, yours!’”

Tell him,‘ The Lord says,“ Haven’t you murdered a man? Haven’t you taken over his property?” ’ Then tell Ahab,‘ The Lord says,“ Dogs licked up Naboth’s blood. In that same place dogs will lick up your blood. Yes, I said your blood!” ’ ”

And you shall say to him,‘ Thus says the Lord,“ Have you killed and also taken possession?”’ And you shall say to him,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ In the place where dogs licked up the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick your own blood.”’”

Give him this message:‘ This is what the Lord says: Wasn’t it enough that you killed Naboth? Must you rob him, too? Because you have done this, dogs will lick your blood at the very place where they licked the blood of Naboth!’”

Tell him,‘ This is what the LORD says: Have you murdered and also taken possession?’ Then tell him,‘ This is what the LORD says: In the place where the dogs licked up Naboth’s blood, the dogs will also lick up your blood!’”

And you shall speak to him, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Have you murdered and also taken possession?” ’ And you shall speak to him, saying,‘ The Lord says this:“ In the place where the dogs licked up the blood of Naboth, the dogs will lick up your blood, yours as well.” ’ ”

Say to him,‘ This is what the LORD says:“ Haven’t you committed murder and taken possession of the property of the deceased?”’ Then say to him,‘ This is what the LORD says:“ In the spot where dogs licked up Naboth’s blood they will also lick up your blood– yes, yours!”’”

Why have you despised Yahweh’s word, to do that which is evil in his sight? You have struck Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Now therefore take and cast him onto the plot of ground, according to Yahweh’s word.”

“ This is what Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbor, and he will lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

I said,“ Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn’t it for you to know justice?You who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear off their skin, and their flesh from off their bones;who also eat the flesh of my people, and peel their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as meat within the cauldron.Then they will cry to Yahweh, but he will not answer them. Yahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.

For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath was pacified.

Woe to him who gets an evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the hand of evil!
