Then two scoundrels came and sat opposite him and brought charges against Naboth before the people, saying,“ Naboth has cursed both God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death.

Then two worthless and evil men came and sat across from him. They brought charges against Naboth in front of the people. The two men said,“ Naboth has cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city. They killed him by throwing stones at him.

And the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him. And the worthless men brought a charge against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

Then the two scoundrels came and sat down across from him. And they accused Naboth before all the people, saying,“ He cursed God and the king.” So he was dragged outside the town and stoned to death.

The two wicked men came in and sat opposite him. Then the wicked men testified against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth has cursed God and the king!” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

And the two men, the base fellows, came in and sat before him: and the base fellows bare witness against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did curse God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him to death with stones.

And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him,[ even] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

The two villains arrived and sat opposite him. Then the villains testified against Naboth right before the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they dragged him outside the city and stoned him to death.

The two men, the wicked fellows, came in and sat before him. The wicked fellows testified against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king!” Then they carried him out of the city and stoned him to death with stones.

『我昨天看見拿伯和他兒子們被殺，我必使你在這塊田裡受到報應，這是耶和華說的。』現在你照耶和華的話，把他丟在這塊田裡吧。」

全城的人都要用石頭打死他，從你們中間除掉這種罪惡。所有以色列人聽說後，都會感到害怕。

從那時起，彼拉多想要釋放耶穌，可是猶太人卻一直喊叫：「如果你釋放這個人，你就不是凱撒的忠臣。凡自以為王的，就是背叛凱撒。」

作偽證陷害鄰舍的人，無異於大錘、刀和利箭。

如果有人作偽證誣陷別人，訴訟雙方要站在耶和華面前，讓當值的祭司和審判官定奪。審判官要仔細審查案件，如果發現那人作偽證，就要按照他企圖加給被誣告者的傷害處罰他。這樣，就從你們當中除掉了罪惡。其他人聽說後，都會害怕，不敢再做這種惡事。你們對惡人不可心軟，要以命償命，以眼還眼，以牙還牙，以手還手，以腳還腳。

「不可作偽證陷害人。

撒謊的假證人和在弟兄中挑起爭端的人。

求你不要讓仇敵抓到我，遂其所願，因為他們誣告我，恐嚇我。

於是，我又觀察日光之下的一切欺壓之事。我看見受欺壓的淚流滿面，無人安慰。因為欺壓者有權有勢，所以無人安慰他們。

就要把她帶到她父親的家門前，由本城的人用石頭打死她。因為她婚前淫亂，在以色列做了可恥的事。你們必須除掉你們中間的罪惡。

作偽證者難免受罰，撒謊的人自取滅亡。

伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝派人告訴以色列王耶羅波安：「阿摩司在以色列家圖謀背叛你，我們國家無法容忍他的言論。

倘若你伸手毀壞他擁有的一切，他必當面褻瀆你。」

約書亞和全體以色列人把謝拉家族的亞干、那些銀子、衣服和金子及其兒女、牛、驢、羊、帳篷和一切所有都帶到亞割谷。約書亞對亞干說：「你為什麼給我們惹禍呢？今天耶和華要降禍給你。」於是，以色列人便拿石頭打死了他和他一切的人畜，將其燒毀。

我們發現這個人惹事生非，到處煽動猶太人鬧事。他是拿撒勒教派的一個頭目，

作偽證者難免受罰，撒謊的人罪責難逃。

不可咒詛君王，連這樣的意念都不可有，也不可在臥室裡咒詛富豪，因為天空的飛鳥會通風報信，有翅膀的會把事情四處傳開。

指控祂說：「這人蠱惑民心，禁止百姓向凱撒納稅，又說自己是基督，是君王。」

幾個律法教師聽了，心裡想：「這個人是在褻瀆上帝。」

宴會的日子結束後，約伯便派人召來他的兒女，為他們行潔淨禮。他清早起來，為他們每個人獻上燔祭，因為他想：「也許我的孩子們犯了罪，心中褻瀆了上帝。」約伯常常這樣做。

不少人作偽證控告祂，他們的證詞卻不一致。後來，有幾個人站起來作偽證說：「我們聽見祂說，『我要拆毀這座人手建造的聖殿，三天內不靠人力另造一座。』」即使這樣，他們的證詞也不一致。

於是，他們暗中唆使一些人誣告司提凡說：「我們聽見他說褻瀆摩西和上帝的話！」

他的妻子對他說：「你還要持守自己的純正嗎？不如褻瀆上帝，死掉算了！」

他竟說咒詛的話，褻瀆了上帝的名，他們把他帶到摩西那裡。原來他母親叫示羅密，是但支派示伯利的女兒。他們把他關押起來，等候耶和華的指示。耶和華對摩西說：「把那褻瀆聖名的人帶到營外，叫聽見的人把手放在他頭上，然後全體會眾要用石頭打死他。你要告訴以色列人，誰咒詛上帝，誰就要承擔自己的罪。凡褻瀆耶和華聖名的，必須被處死，全體會眾要用石頭打死他。不論是外族人還是以色列人，凡褻瀆聖名的，都必須被處死。

眾人大喊大叫，捂著耳朵，蜂擁而上，把司提凡拉到城外，用石頭打他。指控他的人把他們的衣服交給一個名叫掃羅的青年看管。在亂石擊打之下，司提凡呼求說：「主耶穌啊，接收我的靈魂吧！」然後跪下高聲說：

你們要用石頭打死他們，因為他們企圖使你們背棄你們的上帝耶和華，祂曾把你們從受奴役之地——埃及領出來。

惡人誣告我，盤問我毫無所知的事情。

「『不可作偽證陷害人。

耶和華對摩西說：「必須處死那人，全體會眾要在營外用石頭打死他。」於是，全體會眾照耶和華對摩西的吩咐，把他拉到營外，用石頭打死了他。

他們必困苦，饑餓，到處流浪，並在饑餓中怒氣沖沖地咒罵他們的君王，褻瀆上帝。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我要來到你們當中施行審判，速速作證指控那些行邪術的、通姦的、起假誓的、克扣工人薪水的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、冤枉異鄉人的，以及不敬畏我的。

你們必須把二人帶到城門口，用石頭打死他們。那女子該死，因為她在城中卻沒有高聲呼救；那男子該死，因為他姦污了別人的妻子。你們必須除去你們中間的罪惡。
