令匪類二人作證、曰、爾詛上帝與王。遂曳之出、擊之以石、而斃其命。

But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them bring charges that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death.”

於是他們暗中唆使人說：「我們聽過這個人針對摩西和神說褻瀆的話語。」

當時，祭司長們和全議會的人為了要處死耶穌，都在尋找偽證來控告他。雖然有許多假見證人上前來，可是他們找不出什麼。後來有兩個人上前來，說：「這個人說過：『我能拆毀神的聖所，三天內又建起來。』」於是大祭司就站起來，問耶穌：「對這些人控告你的事，你什麼都不回應嗎？」耶穌卻沉默不語。大祭司又對他說：「我命令你指著永生的神起誓，告訴我們你是不是基督——神的兒子？」耶穌回答他，說：「你已經說了。不過我告訴你們：將來你們會看見人子坐在全能者的右邊，在天上的雲彩中來臨。」大祭司就撕裂自己的衣服，說：「他說了褻瀆的話！難道我們還需要什麼見證人嗎？看，現在你們都聽見了這褻瀆的話。你們怎麼看？」他們回答說：「他是該死的！」

他們回答：「我們不會為了什麼美好之事用石頭砸死你，而是為了你說褻瀆的話！因為你不過是人，竟然把自己當做神！」

並且推出假見證人說：「這個人不斷地說褻瀆神的話語，反對這聖所和律法。
