The rest of them escaped to the city of Aphek, where the wall collapsed on twenty-seven thousand of them. And Ben-Hadad fled to the city and hid in an inner room.

躲過驚嚇之聲的墜入陷阱，逃離陷阱的又被羅網纏住，因為天上的窗戶都打開，地的根基也震動。

雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必在那裏搜尋，擒拿他們；雖然離開我眼前藏在海底，我必在那裏命令蛇咬他們；

躲過驚嚇的必墜入陷阱，逃離陷阱的又被羅網纏住，因我必使懲罰之年臨到摩押。這是耶和華說的。

各人遇見敵人就擊殺。亞蘭人逃跑，以色列人追趕他們；亞蘭王便‧哈達騎着馬和騎兵一同逃跑。

現在我－尼布甲尼撒讚美、尊崇、恭敬天上的王，因為他所行的全都信實，他所做的盡都公平。那行事驕傲的，他能降為卑。」

好像人躲避獅子卻遇見熊；進房屋以手靠牆，卻被蛇咬。

慈愛的人，你以慈愛待他；完全的人，你以完善待他。

便‧哈達又派人到亞哈那裏，說：「撒瑪利亞的塵土若足夠跟從我的軍兵每人手拿一把，願神明重重懲罰我！」

從前西羅亞樓倒塌，壓死了十八個人，你們以為那些人比一切住在耶路撒冷的人更有罪嗎？

快跑的無從避難，壯士無法使力，勇士也不能自救；拿弓的站立不住，腿快的不能逃脫，騎馬的也不能自救。
